“Iconic, unique and fabulous”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

This is not a restaurant. This is a frozen yoghurt bar. Not a frozen yoghurt bar as you know it - this is Tamara.
The yoghurts are both superb and seasonal. Summer means mango or vanilla, both are religious.

The treat is in the toppings. Being Israel the fruits are superb, the nuts copious and honey flavoured or plain though the chocolate toppings are less exciting. Halva and honey roast pecans are a treat.
Then the sauces. Hot chocolate with nuts, white chocolates passion fruit. And of course a sauces bar where squeezy bottle of help your self date honey dulche de leche raspberry chocolate .... you get my drift.

And get your card puched as the tenth one is free ( though that is always a medium so you will need a large family with you to be able to finish it)
Portion size is still traditionally Jewish motherly nurturing.

If there is a UNESCO equivalent to preserve restaurants for posterity Tamara needs to no 1 on its list. It is the ultimate of its kind and is a compulsory slurp for anyone visiting the city.

“Good Value! Delicious Yoghurt and great choices for toppings!”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

Highly recommend this place! It was easy to find as it is located on the corner of Ben Yahuda and Gordon.

We had an option of 3 flavors - strawberry, apple and plain. I went for a combination swirl of the strawberry and plain. Then on top of that you get to choose the toppings. Such as
- Mango
- Grapes
- Chopped Banana
- Passionfruit
- Different Types of chocolate
- Syrups
- Nuts
- Melted Chocolate (this was delicious with nuts)

The place is really cosy and they have swing for sets inside the place.

To top it off the staff very friendly and they were very generous with their toppings. You pay for the cup and can put as many toppings as you want inside with!

“Best yoghurt in Israel”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

Anyone in Tel-Aviv should not miss going to Tamara Yoghurt Bar at the corner of Gordon and Ben Yehuda. The servings are huge but then you can choose the toppings being the freshest fruit. Unlike other places in the world where you pay by weight, here it is a fixed price and if you do not fill your cup to overflowing the shop assistant asks you what is wrong. The yoghurt is fresh and soooo refreshing.

“Special Yogurt , in central Tel Aviv, 5 minutes walk from the beach.”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

There's nothing like a refreshing yogurt on a hot and steamy day in Tel Aviv. Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from the beach in Tel Aviv.
They usually have several flavors of yogurt as apple, strawberry or plain yogurt of course.
Large selection of fresh fruit. In addition to fruit, there is a large selection of unique additions to a place like hot Belgian chocolate, candied cashews, various candies and more.
