Our friends who live n Israel wanted to make this evening very special for us and spent a lot of time researching where to go before deciding this would be the best (based on tripadvisor reviews) We arrived to the restaurant with our friends. The reception was cold, by a miserable and very sad looking waitress. We have asked various questions about the food and particularly the wine. She was mumbling answers which were not coherent. She went to bring the restaurant manager, a charming man called Liad. He was informative and professional.
We ordered various first and main courses. The dishes in general were bland, tasteless and very disappointing indeed. I have visited numerous restaurants around the world and in Israel. This one unfortunately by far was poor. Our friends spent the rest of the evening apologising to us and were both extremely embarrassed. Definitely would not recommend this place.

We've hosted 2 events at the Pacific Bistro and our guests gave good reviews of the food each time. Dishes are tasty and varied, and the menu is carefully thought out. During the most recent function, I had the salmon for my main course and it was perfectly done - the portion was generous, the miso seasoning just right, and most important for me, the fish was not over-cooked (I like the fish moist and slightly pink in the center). It's nice to be able to offer Asian-inspired dishes for a change, and the fusion approach presents just the right amount of novelty for Israeli guests who are less familiar with Asian food. The Pacific function room has a view of the Mediterranean and can comfortably seat up to 44 people in 4 round tables. There is also a space outside the room which can be set up for cocktails if needed. It is important to note that the function room is not ideal for presentations because it is rather on the long and narrow side, and there are two pillars that partially block the view of two of the tables. Also, the air-con can get rather cold. But otherwise, the wait staff are pleasant, attentive and responsive. They do their best to keep the pace of service just right, even working with the emcee to time dishes so as not to interrupt event programming. Planning the function is also a breeze. The banquet manager is professional and efficient. Most important of all, he is able to exercise some flexibility and creativity to try to meet the specific needs of your event. Even though I was the event organizer, I could relax and enjoy the function and food, knowing that everything is taken care of.

I had low expectations with the dining experiences in Tel Aviv. After living here for more than a year, it becomes hard finding places with high standards. Pacific Bistro and Sushi Bar offered just that. With exceptional service and great food, I will be coming back here.
I would recommend the Thai Curry and the Egg Roll. Both are unique Asian dishes and will not be a disappointment.

We'd been to Mul Yam a few days beforehand, the most expensive restaurant in Israel, and we were underwhelmed by the food for triple the price of Pacific Bistro and Sushi Bar.

We found ourselves at Pacific Bistro and Sushi Bar because we were dining with friends who keep kosher. The restaurant is hidden on level -2 of the Crowne Plaza Hotel, but it maintains all the trappings of a top class hotel restaurant along with a glorious view of the Mediterranean so you can watch the sun set as you're enjoying the appetizers.

The food and service were both excellent. A highlight was the unique taste of their salmon gnocchi, unlike anything I've ever had before. Everything else, however, was just fantastic, and, while dear by Israeli standards, we didn't find the price exorbitant.

This is the first review of this restaurant on TripAdvisor, but it really deserves to be up there among the best Tel Aviv restaurants. Highly recommended.
