“almost top relaxation”
Reviewed March 28, 2014

Cassis is located 0n a beach front in Yaffo , at the south tip of the beautiful promenade that runs along the city of Tel Aviv-Yaffo coast line , from Tel Baruch beach in the north tip (around 6 miles).
We enjoyed Cassis three times this month : Once on a cloudy Friday morning for a romantic relaxed breakfast , Once for sunset " drinks and somethin' " with friends , and again this Friday morning for yet another breakfast with our daughter and her boyfriend .

The food is tasty but not gurmet , and priced slightly on the upper side of the scale ( 4 set brkfsts plus 4 drft beers - 382.00 Shekels incld. tip ) : not inexpensive but the location , the relaxation and the scenic view - did it for us .
The service is friendly and willing but a bit slow : the place was full with other Telavivians and tourists out for a relaxed breakfast (especially on Fridays and Saturdays ) .
The waiters say that as from mid April when weather warms up in the evenings , the restaurant will be opened for dinners as well .We sure will be back to try it .
In short - a great place to relax after or even before you tour in old Yaffo and the fleamarket area .

“EXCELLENT”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

Was on a trip to israel with my family, walked along the port of Jaffa and came across this beautiful and excellent restaurant. I highly suggest to go try the food there. Breathtaking view of the beach and far away from the large and overcrowded beaches of tel aviv. For those who want a more nice and calm breakfest/lunch/dinner with the family this is the place!!!

“Excellent food, service and view”
Reviewed February 24, 2014

I don't understand the negative reviews below. I ate at Cassis twice in the past month (for brunch and lunch) and both times the experience was great. I am a very picky eater and everything here was very fresh and tasty, with some original touches. the service was fast, even on saturday when the place was packed, and of course the spectacular view and the restaurant's design don't hurt. Yes it's a bit expensive but it's worth it, and the kids' meal at 38 NIS is cheaper than in many run of the mill restaurants in Israel and can easily feed two small kids. In the future I will avoid it on Saturdays because the place was too bustling for me, packed with people and a long line to get it (there is no other restaurant in the vicinity, and many people come to the beach in front of the restaurant and want to eat there), but any other day it's a great address!

“Very disappointing”

Accept for the view, there is nothing special to tell about this place. A mix of basic food with terrible service. Extremely overpriced.

“Chill out in a beautiful location”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

Just a glorious place to relax and watch the world go by. Cassis is a restaurant on its own on Jaffa/Yafo beach, Very friendly and attentive service. Lovely food and the most restful place we found in what is a very hectic city. And very popular, packed out at all times of day. Best to book. Tip: ask for the beach chairs at the front looking out over the sea for the perfect view as you eat.

(Address a bit misleading, as Cassis is well down from Kedem st, right by the beach. At the very South end of Yafo, just before Bat Yam, the very end of the bike path - plus with easy parking)
