The station is a calm and pleasant place to spend time with partner or a family, lot's of restaurants, shops and attractions.
On the day we visited we had a beer festival and it was really fun.
Hope to go back there again.

I recently visited HaTachana with visitors from abroad. What a great job they have done of restoring the area to it's earlier splendor. The buildings are beautifully restored and there is lots to see and do - a must for visitors to Tel Aviv.

Turn back the clock and re-enter the early 20th century in an open magnificent setting. The past has been tastefully preserved, the shopping - particularly of Israeli designers - is not to be compared.

The Tachana is the Hebrew for "the station". It is where the first, turkish train had its stop in Tel Aviv. A few years ago the station house was reconstructed and the area turned into an upscal, small, shopping area. Nothing very interesting. Cobblestone pavements - walking on high heels may be dangerous to your limbs.
