“Best day of a 10 day trip!”

My friend and I agree that having Barak as our guide and visiting the wineries in the Judean Hills was really the highlight of our trip. Barak is so personable, knowledgeable about wine , the history of Israel and just a delight to be with. He arrived right on time- great SUV for comfort. We also had lunch at an incredible local restaurant. It really was such a fun day.

“More than just a wine tour.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2014

This was an excellent wine tour of 3 wineries in the Judean Hills, Tzora, Agur, and Tzuba. My mother, sister, and I took the tour with Barak as our guide last November 2013. He was friendly and informative, with a ready and open attitude regarding our many questions that went beyond the subject of wines. we were not wine connoisseurs, more of wine enthusiasts and Barak was a helpful and entertaining guide who told us about the histories of the wineries and introduced us to some of the people who managed them.
Definitely it was a highlight of our trip to Israel! Expect a full day of driving and walking thru scenic views, wine-tasting, and warm conversations.

“Perfect day!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2014

Israel Wine Tours was the perfect day in the Judean Hills outside Jerusalem! We started with an explanation and tour of an ancient wine press back from the first temple era. Alon explained the history and the process of how wine-making works from beginning to end. We were able to visit a chocolate factory after before we were on our way to our first winery! We hit three wineries and a brewery in our half-day tour! Alon was able to arrange a delicious lunch for us as well, ALL ON SHABBAT! From beginning to end, Alon and his brother Barak were personable, professional, and knowledgable. Israel Wine Tours is extremely flexible to meet the exact wants and needs that you may have for your tour. Lastly, everything was completely organized and set-up, we didn't have to do a thing logistically. I couldn't recommend a better place for your wine tours in any part of Israel!

“Thank you for this magical and sweet day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 10, 2014

Just wanted to express my gratitude for the the amazing trip.
Me and my colleagues took the Israel Wine Tour with Alon. We started our day with a tranquil breakfast, we visited 2 wineries, and then had lunch in a small and charming Kurdish restaurant with a very homely atmosphere.
We were so joyful because of the great atmosphere and the good wine we tasted, that we didn't expect the big surprise Alon planned for the end of the day - a visit to a chocolate workshop - the sweetest highlight for a great day!

Eventually we made it home, happy, satisfied and a little bit drunk :) Thank you Alon!

“Majestic experience of pure indulgence !”

We are native Israelis born and raised, and the tour was booked as a 40th birthday present to my husband. The tour was conducted with the utmost professionalism and courtesy and provided us with a memory to savor our entire lives. I never believed I could tour my own country like this, discovering treasures and admiring the culture and heritage through fresh eyes. Alon is an inspiring guide, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and it was a privilege to spend the day with him! I would recommend this tour to tourists and native Israelis alike - an absolute must to all wine lovers :-)
