“Buzzing, the place to go!”
Reviewed October 27, 2013

We rented a flat for a week above this place and it was constantly heaving. We ate a breakfast here on the upstairs and had a takeaway meal one evening. Breakfast in Israel is very generous. We had Shakshuka and the "Israeli" both accompanied by copious amounts of bread, pastries and conserves plus fabulous coffee. The takeaway consisted of two vegetarian mains plus 3 sides. Portions were so huge we had 2 evening meals from this £20 order. Pretty cheap in this expensive city. Everything was totally delicious and we'll cooked. The deli/restaurant is totally cool and upmarket. Everything very tasteful.

“Good food, good value”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

Ate here at night, outside on the upper balcony, and loved it. Food is more Mediterranean than I was expecting and less local, but fresh and delicious. One word of warning - the place closes at 8pm(!) as it sits in a residential building.

“Great lunch!”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

Just loved this place. We sat upstairs...and had a wonderful lunch. It was very lively...but the food was just delicious. I ordered the chopped liver (don't ask me why) and it was as good as my grandmother's....just delish.

“Cool place”

This is a great place for lunch. Very different from the usual offer but certainly worthwhile. You won't regret it.

“Eat and Bring Back Small Foodie Gifts”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

Great place for breakfast, coffees, and a gem if you need some foodie related gifts to bring home from your travels. Jellies and jams are superb, and reasonably priced. Wrap them carefully in your luggage and your gift will be a delighted welcome when you arrive home.
