It was one of these rare cases when a sense of feeling welcome and well adapted in a hotel comes up just like that. Townhouse made me feel good, relaxed and enjoying every moment of my staying.
Now a few details: It is a small hotel. Meaning that if you like staying in huge multistore blocks with whatever they offer, just don't bother. Personally I find them soulless and impersonal.
On the other hand if you like to be taken care of with a personal touch, be in a place where service and offerings exceed the "process" and where the extra mile is something beyond policy, rather a genuine practice, then yes go and stay in townhouse with no second thought. Breakfast is mind blowing (again, don't go for "continental"), cleanliness is superb and there are several small details accompanied with a heartly smiling which create an unparalleled experience. Loved also the decoration and furnishings but that's subjective. Bikes are offered for free as well as wifi. It is not very close to the beach (~1,2 km on busy streets) but it is located in a very vibrant district with lots of entertainment spots.

Room Tip: top floor rooms are with glass all around, some street noise and heat/sunlight might trouble a guest sensitive in such circumstances, so, bear in mind that when booking

We spent two nights at this hotel. We were upgrated to larger superior room ( celebrating both birthdays at same weekend ) . The stuff was always helpful , friendly and with a smile. They gave us a pair of bicycles ( no charge ) to travel .Very nice cleen small room ( big enough ) with little free extras, that always make the difference ( mineral water , eppresso machine and moore ) .Nice breakfast , nothing extravagant , but enough for what we need.Excellent central area ( not disturbed by the noice outside ) . Buses to every were in Tel Aviv just one block away from hotel ( 15 minutes by bus to Tel Aviv Museum , 10 min. to the beach etc.) .Restaurants and cofee shopps all arround you.
I certenly recomend this classic boutique hotel.

If you're staying in Tel Aviv and want somewhere modern, clean, central with great breakfast and friendly staff, the Townhouse Tel Aviv is ideal.

The photos are spot on (rare as many hotels have out of date ones) - everything really is that modern and clean. The room was a decent size, with the most comfortable bed you could want. Breakfasts are amazing and it's ideally located just off Rothschild Boulevard.

I don't usually (if ever) leave a review unless it's something amazing, which this hotel well and truly is.

Don't hesitate to book.

Nice, fairly new hotel with just 19 rooms. Really nice deco and super friendly staff. Cool, really. I enjoyed my stay and would not at all mind returning. The area is central and full of nice restaurants and bars.

We spent a night in this hotel.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
We had a room down floor that was very quiet and large.
The room was large with several extras; wine, espresso machine, cookies, spring water.
The bath was good, and we had bathrobes, sleepers, and Dead Sea soaps.
The bed was very comfortable, not soft.
The breakfast was good, with good pastries, cheeses and salads, but not enough fresh vegetables.
The area is nice with restaurants and the beach isn't far.
We would recommend this hotel for everyone!

Room Tip: The down floor room was quiet.
