When you will see with how much love is the owner prepairing your Sabich you will simply know you are in the right place. If I could take one thing with me from Israel it would be this Sabich!

I saw a YouTube video with this restaurant, and it looked like something I’d like. It’s better than I expected! The sabich (sa-beak) is basically a pita with grilled eggplant, pickles, vegetables, tahini and other sauces. It’s delicious. The best bites are your last. The guys that work there are BUSY, yet friendly. I’m so glad we found it.

I like to find "hole in the wall" places when I travel that have great food and are a bit off the beaten path. This place is exactly that. The sabich was made fresh and had an wide range of amazing flavors!! Not much more needs to be said. You order at the counter and there are very few places to sit. But you manage and enjoy every bite of your sabich. So much so that I came back another night to have another one. :)

Definitely worth it, a lot of care is in the details of this sandwich. I absolutely love the eggplants and they fit perfectly in the sandwich. This is my first and only sabich and it checks all the boxes of great food.

This place is a no nonsense - two items on the menu type of Sabich (fried eggplant) sandwhich place located around Carmel Market on the street with its' namesake. They add potatoes to the sandwich along with so many delicious sauces and fresh vegetables. They don't take payment till the end because hey, one may not be enough. You have to come back for another and pay together! Keep rocking the 'hole in the wall' food scene ST!
