“A must visit”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

Unique introduction to history of Israel.
Not really a museum. In less than one hour
it tells a magnificent story in a most captivating
presentation.

“Outstanding museum experience”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

This is a very different type of museum experience--not of artifacts, but of being right in the middle among a group of heroic young people who led the vanguard in Israel's fight for independence. This is a museum experience that hsould not be missed.

“Excellent rendition of history and a fitting tribute.”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

This museum uses the latest technology and modern approaches to the museum concept in order to relate the Palmach experience and its contribution to the establishment of the State of Israel. Although I visited more than a year ago since then I have often recommended it to friends and colleagues who have all agreed it is well worth the visit.

“Don't Miss This!”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

Outstanding, creative, moving, interactive experience. Need a reservation, as you go through the museum with a guide. Short, inexpensive taxi ride from anywhere in Tel Aviv.

“Definitely worth a visit...”
Reviewed September 2, 2012

This is an unusal museum near Tel Aviv university which tells the story of the Palmach underground army. Very moving story told through video and dioramas. You tour in small groups and need to make reservations. English speakers will need hand held audiophones as the audio is all in Hebrew. You go through a series of 12 rooms where they describe a company's experience through the years. If you loved the passion in the film Exodus, you will love this place. Seniors may find it a little difficult to walk through it unless you have sturdy shoes and it does involve standing although in the 2 longest vignettes there are places to sit albeit on stone seats almost on the floor. Not the place to wear tight short skirts ladies if you get my drift. Discounts for seniors and students. If you drive, either find one of the free parking spaces a little down the road or make sure you have about 2 hours of parking (those cardboard tickets you pre purchase, they don't have the machines on the street). The show and pre meeting is about 90-100 minutes so plan accordingly lest you might get a ticket if you park in the the blue/white zone.
