Its wonderful to wander the quiet streets of this south end of Tel Aviv. Shabazi street is busy and filled with great eateries and boutique stores

Filled with charming restaurants and local boutiques. Cobblestone roads, and very pedestrian friendly. 5 mins from the beach.

Spent a lovely morning wandering through this vintage neighborhood near the sea in Tel Aviv. Lots of cute boutiques and coffee shops. Visited the Rokach House for a short video orientation to the history of the area. Also visited the new Railroad Depot. Pleasant way to experience Tel Aviv heritage. Perhaps may be more fun in the evening when more of the restaurants and bars are open.

Taking a walk through the narrow short and sometimes longer St. in Neve Tzedeck brings to you- the history of the Jewish people in the past 200 years …Old Jaffa served as a harbour for the new immigrants from all over the world – it was nice and therefore they stayed and built their homes. Today – where the American Colony was – is a Museum, Church etc. Take your time – explore, ask and enjoy the fascinating old and new architecture. Every St. and corner reminds the walker of famous authors who lived or live today, artists and simple people as well. Great restaurants and delicious ice cream you can eat all year round next to the Dalal Center (Cultural Centre with great dance performances) Enjoy!

Neve Tzedek was the first Jewish neighborhood out side of old Jaffa. Formerly it was run down but over the last 10 years it has become the place of luxurious rennovations, interesting shops and great restaurants. This area must be visited to get a feel for modern Tel Aviv.
