walking through the 1st neighborhood of what will be the City of Tel Aviv hearing the stories seeing the old houses. Stopping for ice cream or a cup of coffee, maybe local food in one of the restaurants. Jaffa in a walking distance, same is the sea. A great way to pass an afternoon or a evening.
I made few, but the latest one with "tarbush" (Turkish Res Hat) was something else.

So many words were generously spent by previous reviewers. Yes, it's beautiful, interesting, romantic. And also a bit pretentious and full of graffiti. But there's something else in the oldest streets of Tel Aviv: mystery. Especially in the twilight hours and at night. Walk around Neve Tzedek when the skies are dark and you'll feel it. And if you're curious enough to learn some basic facts about this neighborhood, you'll be rewarded with a very special experience, history blended with sounds and flavors of today's Israel.

Very run down and full of graffiti. It is the oldest part of Tel Aviv. Some nice buildings but most are badly in need of repair.
