Owner description: Filled with a maze of narrow winding streets, this picturesque neighborhood is considered one of Tel Aviv’s major cultural areas where the Frederic Mann Auditorium, Helena Rubinstein Art Museum and Israel’s Habima Theater are located.

Get a hold of a pamphlet with 4 or 5 suggested walking routes. Very helpful to know what you're looking at. Great place to stroll and eat. Walk the full length of Shabazi St. and eventually you'll hit the totally renovated "Hatachana" (bus station).

This is the first neighborhood created in Tel Aviv and it is a real treat to just walk the streets and enjoy the ambiance. There are shops and restaurants all around as well as several museums and art galleries. Do not miss this!

Sort of a bohemian atmosphere, quaint houses which have been renovated nicely. I love to see the changes being done here, not taking away from its style. It's very pleasant to walk around and explore the side streets as well as walk down the main street, Shabazi Street. It's a small neighborhood so it can be seen in a few hours. Nice places to eat. Anita's Ice Cream Shop is really good! Small shops, boutiques on the way.

This neighborhood near the sea was chock full of interesting shops and restaurants. Not touristy, and a great place to people watch.

Love the small bars, the shops the quite and sunset time. Close to everything. Many good restaurants, old houses and arts to see. Very Romantic place.
