A friend told us this was a favorite museum for her to visit when in Tel Aviv. While I love art, large museums can be overwhelming . Also, as a tourist to Israel, I have a limit to how many museums I can make it through without being overwhelmed. This museum was a perfect respite. It is in a private house on a quiet street. My wife and I rode bikes to the museum. Our experience with the staff was that they were helpful and friendly. He even joked about our bikes. The background exhibit about the artist was interesting. I loved the way there were period photographs matched with many of the paintings. This absolutely helped give me a perspective on what Israel looked like in the early 1900's. This was definitely worth a visit.
