I visited the port area in the evening. It has become a trendy shopping area with fine art galleries, restaurants and cafés. I bought some beautiful and colourful art pieces, which I can admire in my living room. There are musical events in the evening and a busy night life.

Definitely worth a visit.

Nice to walk by and see people. Just so close to the city.

There are nice views of the ocean, but not much more. The stores are outlet types - not very interesting. There are a few places to eat overlooking the water. None of the food options stand out.

This area of the old Tel Aviv port is a classical walking area beside the beach with a lot of cofffee shops, resturants and other shops. Everyone can find there something enjoyable.

The port area is beautiful place to visit both during the day and at night. Lots of restaurants, both kosher and non-kosher according to your needs and tastes. There’s bike rentals and also little cars & things for kids. It’s very kid-friendly and it’s filled with a whole variety of people- families with and without children, teenagers both in groups and couples (pretty well-behaved!), older couples, young couples, Arabs, Jews, religious, secular, the works.

A lot of the photographs attached to this location, and likely many of the reviews, are actually of the old port of Jaffa, not Tel Aviv. The old port of Tel Aviv is much less historic and picturesque, but there are several nice restaurants and shops along the waterfront. One negative is that the area is on the flight path of the local airport, so large airplanes periodically fly overhead as they take off and land.

This is a really special area - and it's magical by night. Pull up at one of the numerous cafes or restaurants and park for people watching and the view.

Unlike many cities who have gentrified their harbor, this one is still far from being a great destination. Empty stores, uninteresting merchandise which is there, unimpressive restaurants and a dingy appearance made for a boring visit....

Find a better place to see.....

A 5 km walk from Jaffa Old City along the Tel Aviv beachfront area, some welcoming cafes and restaurants. Makes a pleasant change from the large skyscraper hotels that impose on the seafront along the main beach area.

The Tel Aviv port is full of fun things to do - shopping, hanging out, sports, parks, great restaurants, the market, and there is always some event going on so do not miss it.
