“Nice museum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

The museum is nice, sometimes it has special exhibitions worth visiting...i wouldn't say you miss anything if you dont go there, this is not the Orsay in Paris or the Metropolitan NY... but nice

“always a fascinating exhibition to enjoy and the new wing architecture alone is worth the visit.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

whatever you're viewing, leave time to enjoy the new wing of the museum and don't be fooled by the not too impressive exterior ... indoors, from every ramp and every angle, it's wonderful. The current (Feb/Mar/April 2013) Angelina Shatz exhibit is revealingly fascinating.

“Exellent Museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

The art museum was surprisingly great. I go to Tel Aviv for the art am always really surprised to find so many good bauhaus and modern paintings, sculptures, etc. The biggest collection of impressionists I have seen. Piccasso, Renoir, van Gogh, Cezanne, Kandinsky, Mathisse. Lovley. The store is also really nice. its definitely a good place to see with kids.

“Stunning building, an architectural gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Was recommended to go by an architect friend. The building was quite beautiful: airy, bright, with interesting angles of walls and ceilings and light and shade. Lovely paintings in a wonderful setting.

“Great Bauhaus permanent colleciton at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

The art museum was surprisingly great. I didn't go to Tel Aviv for the art museum, and was really surprised to find so many good bauhaus and modern paintings, sculptures, etc. The store is also really nice. I went with my son (age 3) who didn't complain too much ;-)--- its definitely a good place to see with kids. The external grounds and surrounding park area was also nice.
