“Fantastic architecture”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013

How appropriate to have an art museum that is a piece of art.

The museum shares a a plaza with the Israeli Opera and a major theater group. The site resented an architectural challenge because the footprint was limited and there may have been height restrictions. the architect finessed the situation by having the part of the museum below the Plaza level much larger than that abovel. The shapes of the building components are wonderful and a contrast with the old museum building which is still used for exhibitions.

Art is a matter of taste, and while some pieces may be distracting others are grand.

“Very unique collections”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2013

This is worth a visit. It is currently a set of collections from many parties, donators, etc. that provides a unique view on many topics and ideas. Low cost, very easy to park and not crowded. Also near good restaurants and other attractions.

“Architectural masterpiece, brilliant artworks”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2013

The new extension to this Museum shows the difference a great architect can make to a public space. Just breathtaking. But a museum is ultimately judged by its' displays and this museum more than pleased us in so many ways. A must visit in Tel Aviv
