“A Happy Traveller”

Excellent position - from family to business travellers all are catered for in an excellent location.
Clean, redecorated in style, excellent breakfast, shops, busses, restuarants from 5 star to street cafes and fast food. English speaking and most staff friendly and very helpful (Thank you Seeda!) Roof at sunset is magic. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY - WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK.

Room Tip: Sea facing has some street noise - which didn't worry us but may be a factor for some.

The hotel seemed adequate, but we were very disappointed to find, after check out and when we were at our next destination, that we had left our iPod behind (in our bed) at the Maxim, the staff told us (after several phone calls from abroad) that it could not be found. Since the iPod had never left the hotel room during our entire stay, this left us with a very bad feeling.

Small rooms with sufficient place to put everything and really helpful staff. The breakfast was perfectly adequate and I will definitely be coming back here again.

I have stayed at some of the larger chain hotels in Tel Aviv and this recently refurbished hotel was a far nicer experience.

I also left my passport in my room after I'd moved on and when I called to ask if they had found it they held it at reception for me to claim it later.

Very polite and helpful staff - maybe some of the other hotels should send their people to the Maxim for them to be trained in customer services.

Room Tip: Ask at Reception when you check in.

The Maxim Hotel is a good place to stay for the money. The rooms are small (the single is tiny) but comfortable and nicely designed. The staff is pleasant and helpful (in a gruff sort of way). The breakfast is good. Wireless is free. Parking is too (but there are limited number of spaces so get there early). And the location is great. I recommend it for anyone who does not feel the need to be in a deluxe place, but is looking for a moderately priced place with all the necessary amenities.
