I will stay there again!
And this is the only hotel, that sent a thank you letter to me,for giving them a resume from our,17 people from Norway, stay there in 2009. Great!
Everyone have to see the CENTER of the world,on good and bad.
I love ISRAEL

On our recent adventure to Israel we stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with Walking Adventures. It is in a great location to shops, restaurants and the beach. Also close to Joppa for a walk from the hotel. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. Great breakfast choices and friendly staff. To start your adventure here to explore magnificent Israel is a good choice

Room Tip: ask for a view of the Mediterranean

Not suitable for a business traveler and, with so many hotels around, it will not be my choice for a leisure travel either.
The hotel is located two blocks from the beach, it caters to large-size packaged-tour groups, which, possibly, is the reason for owners’ indifference to the needs of business travelers. I stayed there for a month, here are my observations:
1) they don’t have working internet. Well, they do have free WiFi – but it is down nearly half of the time, and when it is up it is terribly slow - it takes several minutes to download email messages into Outlook. Forget about using Skype, paying bills online or browsing content-rich pages.
2) No air conditioning. To be exact there is an air conditioner, but it is turned off. There were some very hot nights in late Feb, so I tried to turn on the air conditioner, but it did not work. When I complained at reception they told me that air conditioning is available only during summer months.
3) Many windows overlook a huge construction site, a lot of noise from 7am to 6pm
4) No iron in the room – “for fire safety reasons” one has to go to the special ironing room on the 7th floor.
5) If you consider an apartment at “Metropolitan Suites” for a long stay (that is small building next to the main hotel tower) – please be aware that there is no stove in the kitchen (only microwave) - for "fire safety reasons", they say; also there is no washing machine.

Room Tip: rooms with the sea view (on the s-w and n-w sides) get a lot of noise from a huge construction site

The location of this hotel was phenomenal, just a 2 second walk from the beach. The room was comfortable and clean and the view of the sea was refreshing. The complementary breakfast was way above par, as well. Unfortunately, I did have some major hangups. The wifi connection was terrible! This is supposed to be a modern hotel, yet the wifi was spotty at best. Other times, non-existent. Another huge problem I had was with the fact that there was no clothes iron in the room. I had to go down to the 7th floor and stumble into a tiny space that had the world's second-oldest iron. Needless to say, the iron did not do its job. Would it kill to have an iron in the room? The best were ok...not the most comfortable but not intolerable either. The pillows were too soft and the room was like a furnace because the AC didn't work properly. I woke up most nights sweating my butt off. Once we finally figured out how to open the window without breaking it, we slept well. The walls were paper-thing and you could hear every little conversation in each room as you passed.

Very friendly and helpful staff at check in. The hotel has an excellent location, close to the beach and sea.
The hotel has been undergoing a major refurbishment, and our room was clean, bright and nicely furnished, including a fridge and safe, and an LG television. Pleasant lighting through the room at night.
The bathroom with bath, shower and toilet was small but adequate, and included shampoo, body cream, soaps and bath gel.
Each room has a kettle and instant coffee packs.
From the higher floors there is a view to the beach and sea.
Breakfast was more than adequate with a good selection of cereals, salads, cheeses, fish, fruit and vegetables. Tea,coffee and fruit juices were all to hand.
We felt that the price for an overnight stay with breakfast in that location was more than reasonable.
Our only minor grumble was that the lelephone in the adjacent room was loud enough to wake us earlier than wanted.

This was the last stop on a tour I took of Israel. The hotel was very nice, clean rooms and a nice breakfast buffet with many choices. The reception staff was very accommodating and friendly. I was looking to get a day trip to the Dead Sea, and one of the receptionists hooked me up with her brother in law, a taxi driver, who offered to take me to the Dead Sea for a reasonable price. The hotel has a very nice location with a short walk to the beach. Would not hesitate to book here again!

It was on a side street but the Taxi could find it easily. Clean large rooms with comfortable and soft bed.

Reception was efficient and easy as was the hotel booking.

Large lobby for waiting and room with a little view of the sea.

Quiet room although there was Construction next door.

Wude range of food for breakfast with a live station for eggs.
