Very friendly place, very helpful personel. Only critics - being 100+kg, being on second floor bunkbed without balance down - is rather dangerous.

Bolt those bankbeds - less moise, more security.

This yellow-clad hostel is nestled along Hayarkon, one of the liveliest streets in Tel Aviv. Uninhibited yet stylish, I found this hostel ideal. The balcony rooms that face Hayarkon st. breath in sea air and invite patrons to enjoy the warmth of Tel Aviv below. All of the rooms provide the creature comforts of home. This is a smart choice for conscious travelers. Located on an attractive block in the heart of the city, the sleek hostel is housed in a historic building and blends ancient style with an avant-garde twist. The lobby features a reception desk similiar to a friendly neighborhood pub. For my money i recommend this hostel to any wayside traveler.

I have been staying at the Hayarkon since I was 14 practically every year. The staff are really proffesional and always try to get you a discount. The kitchen always has a good communal atmosphere and the showers are clean and hot. Its a great location near the beach and shopping districts, but if you want to day trip it the staff are very helpful on how to get to the right mode of transport and if the weather will be any good.
I will always keep comming back to Hayarkon.

I have stayed in hostels in 9 countries. This is one of the best. I've stayed at Hayarkon48 twice. It is the only place I will stay in Tel Aviv. There is no other hostel in the city that is closer to the beach, at just 1 block (100 meters / 100 yards) from the sand. The staff is super friendly and young. The manager is smart, attentive, and always aware which helps if there is a problem. The desk is staffed 24/7 and the front door is always locked. Bathrooms are cleaned daily. I also liked the wi-fi they recently put in and the security lockers. The staff speaks English & Spanish which helps for the foreign clientele.

This is the best place to stay in Tel Aviv. The staff will give you all the help and advice you need, on request. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. The bathroom facilities are excellent. Hot showers and clean toilets 24 hours per day. The place is cleaned daily. The hostel is 1 minute walk from the beach, and 3 minutes walk from Tel Aviv Central. For the money you will not find anything to match this hostel.

This is one of the most amazing places be be located in Tel Aviv, if you like to meet people from all over the world, each unique and none alike, all motivated by the sence of living in Israel and experiencing a world beyond the city, being a place your welcomed all the time, and assisted with all your travel plans in and around the worlds coolest spots.

Hayarkon 48 is the place to be in Israel even if it's just for the night.
Seriously a place you need to check out.
