Recently spent two nights at the Sheraton Tel Aviv during a business trip and the overall impression was ok.
As SPG Platinum member I got upgraded to a Towers room with access to the very nice Towers lounge with great views and a good selection of food and beverages for breakfast and during the evening. The service in the lounge was friendly, but rather slow - it seems that they were a bit understaffed.
The room itself was very hot upon arrival with the sun heating it during the day and the AC only working after entering the room. It took quite a bit until it was cooled down. The view was great, the balcony nice, but the room was probably one of the smallest, maybe comparable to a Paris hotel. It was well maintained though and I did enjoy the coffee maker as well as evening chocolates and a fruit platter.

The breakfast buffet was outstanding with great service. Highly recommended...

Overall, this is one of the older Sheratons with ok amenities and services, but definitely not outstanding.

Naturally, when I stayed here, I expected this place to be great and for the most part it fulfilled my expectations. In Israel, many of the hotels do not have the best amenities and are not the cleanest I have seen. In that regard, the sheraton was really great. The location was phenomenal, with a fantastic, clean, and vibrant beach only steps from the hotel. The room was average to above average with old looking carpet. The service was quite honestly bad. The front desk clerk saw me standing in front of him for 5 minutes and was on the phone, but didnt care to tell me that his desk wasn't open until he got off the phone. We requested the bell captain to call us a large van cab for us to go the airport 1.5 hrs in advance but we were stuck waiting and nearly missed our flight. The best thing about this place was the breakfast buffet. Great eggs, pancakes, fresh juices and israeli specialties.

We stayed one night at the hotel and everything first-rate. The staff was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were clean and modern. I especially liked the individual reading lights above the bed.
The free breakfast buffett as fantastic, with different counters hosting various cuisines. They had an omelet station and, of course, bagels and lox.
The hotel was right on the beach and the sunset from our room was breath-taking. I felt completely at home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Supposed to be a Category 5 hotel, one of Sheratons finest. It is most certainly not even close. More like a Category 3 at the most. Drabby, well worn and not well maintained rooms, hallways and all public areas. Bathroom so small the door hits the rim of the toilet and even has a bumper installed on it to keep from breaking the door, but not your knees. Has a 5 star price but not worth the money by any standard. There are many other hotels in the same location with much better accomodations for the same price, and they are right on the Tel Aviv beach as well. Try Intercontinental Hotel, Dan Panorama Hotel, Renaissance Hotel, etc. Much nicer facilities!

Room Tip: Pick a room with a balcony on a high floor so you can at least have a view of something other than t...

On the beach and convenient near major shopping streets gives this hotel a good advantage over others,.

We liked the breakfast, 2-for-1 happy hour drinks and easy access to beach.

Room Tip: Beach facing is always good

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the SheratonHotel and Towers. The location was excellent and very central. It is posible to walk to the Old Port in the north, and if you are feeling energetic, to Jaffa in the south. It is also walking distance from Dizengoff Street. The hotel itself was very pleasant. We had a good size bedroom, with a sitting area, and a side sea view. The pool was not enormous, but perfectly adequate, and of course the beach is just across the road. The staff were helpful, and the buffet breakfast was very good. We would certainly stay there again.

Room Tip: All the rooms have some sort of sea view.
