this is a great hotel. the location is excellent right across the street from the beach and the staff is super nice. the rooms are small but this is a city so to me that wasn't a problem. I would recommend getting a city view if noise bothers you. they have free internet, a great roof deck, very friendly staff, beach bags and chairs and a free wine and snack hour. i definitely recommend this place and would go back.

If you prefer the level of 5* hotel chains without their anonymity and more personal touch - then the Melody Hotel is right for you. Great location (5 min to the beach), good area (next to the Swiss and Turkish embassies) and last but not least very nice stuff. The sunsets from the rooftop terrace are spectacular. Be aware that the rooms are small and the road in front of the hotel is a busy one.
For a week at the beach this hotel was perfect for us and we will stay there next year again.

I have previously stayed at the Sheraton, Hilton, Dan, Crowne Plaza, Renaissance and the InterContinental. The Melody can hold it's high amongst the competition.
The rooms my colleague and I had were small and not particularly quiet but spotlessly clean and the air con worked well. We are both accustomed to staying in top hotels and both of us commented we would be happy to return to to the Melody. The staff were outstanding in every respect. My colleague requested an iron and ironing board and they were cheerfully delivered in minutes. The Reception staff including Koby and Oded were as helpful as possible and gave some excellent restaurant recommendations. My colleague also praised the night Receptionist (I'm afraid I don't know his name) who had recently visited Australia.
The large hotels have huge breakfast buffets but by day three I am bored by the food because is the same every day. Breakfast at the Melody was smaller but changed a bit every day. Eggs were made to order and the espresso coffee was also very good. Tali and Ilan were very friendly and I congratulate the kitchen staff on their efforts. The hotel was fully booked; now I know why.

We enjoyed our staV at the Melody. The front desk was great, very helpful and friendly. The rooms are small with 3 people but nevertheless it was modern and comfortable. We had a front room and only had problems with noise 1 night. The hotel is in a great location for the beach and port areas. Breakfast and cocktail time were very good. Free internet.

A wonderful boutique hotel right across from a park next to the beach. Very but brilliantly modern and well stocked rooms , even down to artsy paper clips. .Great breakfasts and 'happy hour'- which seems to go on for the whole evening. Lovely roof top lounge
