Began my stay solo, later on was joined by my husband. In all, was a guest for two weeks. Hotel offers an excellent Israeli breakfast, as well as early eve snacks & beverages as part of stay. The location of the hotel is very convenient, across street from park/beach. Also, one block away from great shopping, variety of restaurants & services. Good public trans, as well as easy taxis and near car rental. All easy to walk to. Hotel has a lovely roof deck, elevator. Hotel is very hip and inviting. Very accommodating staff - helpful and knowledgeable. At times, the street noise could be loud. Housekeeping in the room varied depending on the day. Found the hotel to be very friendly and looked forward to returning there after a day of touring. Great whether solo or as a couple. Would return for another stay.

This is a modern, chic, boutique hotel right on the oceanfront in Tel Aviv. The rooms are on the small side but smartly furnished with free wifi. There is a lovely happy hour in the evening and a free breakfast (most Israeli hotels have this) in the morning. But what really makes the hotel standout is the service. Everyone is friendly and really goes out of their way to accomodate requests. They found me a hand-held hairdryer so I didn't have to use the wall unit. They couldn't have been nicer. I highly recommend this hotel.

We booked this hotel on trip advisor recommendations & as we were travelling around Israel by Rental Car the fact that they have basement parking. Unfortunately on our arrival the parking was full for the duration of our stay but we could park across the road in the Hiltons car park & get a discounted rate. This was not a big problem as the Hilton is just across the road & they even have a gas station as part of their parking complex so I was able to gas the car up at the same time. On departure we paid for a card that would get us out of the Hiltons car park – it all worked well.

Second surprise on checking in to the room was just how small the standard rooms are here. They are very trendy & very well designed but they are very small. We travel with a large Samsonite suitcase each, mine the largest one they make & there just wasn’t space in the room for us & our luggage – no matter how we arranged things. So, back down to reception & fortunately we were able to upgrade to a mini suite for about US$40 per night more. This room was on a high floor, large & spacious & a lovely space to be in. All features of the room worked very well & the room was very clean – it had a Jacuzzi but we didn’t try it, no time!!

The location of the hotel is excellent. There are a number of Restaurants within walking distance. We even walked from here to the Tel Aviv Port to Benny the Fishermans for Dinner one night. The walk took about 20 minutes & even though it was dark we felt very safe in the area. There are also a number of convenience stores nearby where you can buy a bottle of Israeli wine to enjoy in your room. On the roof of the hotel there is a pleasant rooftop terrace & we went up there each night to watch the sun set which was spectacular over the Mediterranean. On a beautiful sunny & hot day we walked from here via Neve Tsedek all the way to Yafo & back to the hotel along the beach promenade. What a fantastic walk – the camera was working overtime. There are not many cities in the world with a location on such a scenic white sand beach as Tel Aviv has, this part of the Mediterranean is particularly nice.

The restaurant in the hotel only serves breakfast. We felt the breakfast was adequate & nowhere near as nice as the breakfast in their Jerusalem Harmony hotel. After staying in 2 of their hotels it was apparent to us that the Atlas hotel chain is the in thing in Israeli hotels at the moment. Excellent trendy hotels at a very good rate – just watch the size of those standard rooms in this hotel though!!

I am now a huge fan of the Atlas chain in Israel. This was the second hotel of theirs we stayed in. Great staff, adorable rooms, and a great roof deck. This is not the hotel for you if you want a Tel Aviv beach vacation--then I would definitely go with one of the bigger hotels on the water. But if you are staying in the city for business, history, shopping, culture, etc. it is just perfect. It is close to the newer Port area that is delightful on Saturdays. The hotel is a little further from Jaffa and center city things, but definitely walkable. We appreciated their free parking garage. A great way to experience Israel for reasonable prices with a central location while avoiding some of the larger touristy hotels without sacrificing service or hipness.

We had a few rooms for various ages and family members. The staff on the front desk were extremely calm and helpful especially Erez The free drinks snacks and games at 5pm was a nice homely touch. The rooms are on the small side and a bit noisy but have nice things in them. There are some good health packages too.

Just got back from spending 2 nights at the Melody Hotel. What a great hotel! The rooms are very nice and modern and just large enough for 2 people. The bathrooms are a little small and if you are not careful you will soak the bathrooms when you take a shower, but the hotel is well worth the price.

What is best about the hotel is the staff. Everyone is so nice and helpfull. We left Israel late on the 31st and while they gave us a late checkout (even though the hotel was completely booked), we still had many hours to kill until we left for the airport. The staff were very gracious in allowing us tostore our bags and hang out in the lobby as long as we needed to. That really helped us out.

I would definitely recommend this hotel (or any of the atlas hotels) to a friend. Thanks, Melody!

I stayed here during the first week of November. While I have stayed in Tel Aviv several times in the past, this was my first stay at the Melody. It definitely won't be the last though.

The staff were all very friendly, the breakfast buffet was delicious (I'd kill for that breakfast at any American hotel), the rooms very clean, and the location was great. You can spend a lot more money and stay at a more famous hotel in Tel Aviv, but I'm not sure why you would.

Like others have commented, the room was smaller than when many people are used to. But for a business traveler, it's just fine. I need a place to sleep, a desk to work at, a closet for my clothes, and a bathroom. I had all of this, and it was very stylish and well-appointed.

There's free WiFi, which is still not common at hotels anywhere, and free parking if you're lucky enough to get one of the few parking spaces. If not, there's a big lot right across the street that isn't too expensive.

The hotel is a very short walk to the beach, and only 2 blocks from Dizengoff street, with lots of restaurants and night spots close by. The area is safe, and I wouldn't hesitate to walk around at any time of the day or night.

So yes, I'll be back at the Melody next time I go to Tel Aviv. I enjoyed it much more than some of the bigger names in town.
