We recently spent 6 nights at the Melody on the advice of a US friend. Luckily, I had read about noise as we are noise sensitive. By keeping fan on during the night & requesting a "quiet" room we were not too bothered by noise. If weather is good & you are out touring, the small rooms will not bother you. On the plus side, breakfasts & happy hours are very nice. Staff is very pleasant. Would have liked a little more knowledgable staff regarding some of the "concierge" type expectations that i had. Overall, good value & great location for beach/port. Their bikes are a nice touch if you stick to the bike lanes! We biked to Jaffe along the ocean side lanes.

Very nice hotel with so friendly people, they make you feel like family !
Lovely atmosphere.
For those who have a light sleeper, maybe it's better to have a room towards the back because of the noise of the street.

There is a lot to like about Melody and the place has lots of potential, but a few essential aspects fell short of our family's expectations. Our family stayed in a junior suite -- the size suited us well. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable; the springs were felt through the mattress and every time my son moved it squeaked and bounced. He has managed on many 'extra beds' in many hotels -- this one was the worst. Terrible night sleep for us all, unfortunately. The room was nicely decorated, fun features, and treats. But is wasn't as clean as we expect. Our bathroom garbage can was full still when we arrived, for example, and the floor was a bit sandy. We know Melody strives for better and we'd give the place another try -- it's location, food/beverage service, and friendly staff are all pluses. And the fitness area -- very clever -- exercises marked on each flight of stairs! Once these other details are improved, the place will be excellent.

I have really appreciated people's kindness and impeccable service, and the room was very nice and always perfectly clean. Breakfast was great, the roof terrace very agreeable, and the small parking lot under the hotel very convenient.
The only small down side was that road trafic noise and honking at the trafic lights required me to use ear plugs in order to sleep well as I was on the second floor just above Hayarkon street.

Room Tip: Unless you like to hear road trafic and honking, ask for a room on upper floors and in the back, or...

Thank you very much for your courtesy. The Hotel is very nice, good location and a very good and friendly staff. Grat breakfast and very nice happy hour. The rooms are are average size but confortable. Only the parking is very small (not more than six car). When I will come again in Tel Aviv, I would like to stay again in Melody Hotel

Arrived at the hotel and instantly felt comfy and the service was excellent. The rooms were great and when even I had something to ask on travelling or such on Tel Aviv the hotel staff was there to answer my question in a friendly way. If I were to ever travel to Tel Aviv again in the future I would certainly stay at the Melody Hotel for sure.

The melody hotel was quite a pleasant stay. We arrived at 3:00 am in the morning and the first thing they offered us was some warm apple cider and delicious little chocolates! The people working there were very flexible and friendly! The rooms gave off a relaxing vibe and we all slept wonderfully! It is in a great location and one can take a stroll on the beach or walk around the park. The rooms were also very clean and modern. The Melody Hotel is the place to stay in Tel Aviv!
