“In Tel-Aviv - I highly recommend this hotel”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

The hotel is well located- both to the important parts of the city and to the beach. The room was quiet (the view was ok - opposite to the beach but also overlooked a quiet back street rather than a major busy street, and was twice as large as the rooms with the better view). The room was very clean and the service was impeccable. Great Israely-style breakfast. Very clean.

The staff reflect Galit's personality. They are friendly, courteous, and very helpfull. They couldn't do enough to enhance our stay at the Melody Hotel.
The room was comfortable and maintained by the housekeeping staff. The king size bed, with the firm comfortable mattress, made the stay very restfull. We stayed at the Melody for 45 days, and would highly recommend it to others. The location is excellent, due to it's proximity to the beach, the port, and restaurants.

Room Tip: Front of hotel has smaller rooms, with vie of sea. At the back there are larger rooms with city view.

I love this hotel. It covers the basics very well. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable & the food very nice. But it's the slightly odd things - the rubber ducks, the notices in the stairwell inviting you to take exercise while climbing stairs, etc. - that give this hotel its charm. That and the fact that the staff are wonderfully helpful and very friendly.

We opted to spend our last night in Israel in Tel Aviv. It was Friday night and we were concerned about finding a restaurant as several we had tried to make a reservation at were sold out. The young man at the reception desk found us a wonderful restaurant, Adora, in walking distance. We asked for a late departure as our flight to NY was after midnight. This request was accommodated and although we were wiling to pay to stay until 8 in the evening, there was no charge. The hotel is located just across from the beach and a lovely park. The views from the room were of the Mediterranean. The room was on the smaller side but ver comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast which was included. We will return,

We've stayed in Tel Aviv many times at the larger and more established hotels, this was our absolute favourite.
Yes the room was a bit smaller than we are used to but it was really comfortable and funky, with some nice touches like the rubber ducks in the bathroom. It also had a great seaview - which I think is a must.
Breakfast had a great choice of salads, hot food, breads and pastries and then weekdays there is a lovely snack selection served early evening to welcome you back from the beach and your day out.
It's a short hop over the road what we thought was a particularly nice bit of beach and the hotel give you a bag with towels and water to take with you.
When we came back in the evening we sat on the small roof terrace which has comfortable sun beds and enjoyed our wine and snacks.
What really makes this hotel is the staff. They are welcoming, friendly and helpful. We could see that there were many returning clients who were welcomed as old friends and that has to be the best sign of a good hotel. We too look forward to a return visit.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a seaview.

Melody Hotel is a splendid boutique hotel in Tel Aviv, close to the sea shore. Most friendly and efficient staff. Lavish breakfasts and nice "happy hours." Wonderful sunsets from the roof terrace.
We warmly recommend it to foreign tourists as well as to Israelis (we came from Jerusalem).

The single rooms might be small but this is compensated for entirely by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the fabulous breakfast buffet, the rooftop terrace, the location and the range of thoughtful services that are offered from beach towels and water to yoga mats. Will definitely be back
