Dan Panorama Tel Aviv

I liked the hotel very much. Although not the cheapest in Tel Aviv, it is directly on the seafront, close to the Jaffa region. The breakfast is definitely one of the best I ever had! Don't miss! The rest of the facilities are more or less standard, except the high security level in the hotel, which is extraordinary high.

Room Tip: Ask for the higher floors with the seaview.

Almost every room has a balcony with a view of the Mediterrenean. We kept the french doors open at night and enjoyed the wonderful sea breeze and delcious sea smell. Did get a little noisy on Friday night, but that's to be expected in party-town Tel Aviv. The room was a nice size, beds were very comfortable. The water pressure was amazingly good. Only problem was - kept having to request towels, which were brought immediately after phone call, but should not have had to call. Staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet is rumoured to be the best in Tel Aviv and I believe it. I stayed there for seven days and still could not taste all the selections, as there were so many. Everything is fresh and delicious - always at least 10 types of cheese, a dozen different types of bread, waffles and pancakes made to order (except on Saturday), a palce to squeeze your own orange or grapefruit juice, wonderful Israeli salads. Just amazing. Good location as well - you can stroll the beach or walk through arty Newe Tsadek neighborhood. Jaffa is close also.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room with a balcony

After a long flight from the US, this was a great place for our first night in Israel. Everything was clean and in order on our arrival. Bed was firm and my husband and I loved the setup with the twin beds next to each other, with our own covers. Loved the bath sheets, instead of the usual towel!! Also, great to see dual-flush toilets to conserve water. Only down side was the very narrow tub-shower, with no mat or gripping finish, which made it very slippery when showering. Dinner and breakfast buffets were very good with many choices. Possibly the best meals we ate in a week in Israel. I just wish this had been the Dan we stayed at for most of the trip!

Room Tip: For quiet night's rest, get a south-facing (overlooking fountain) room. People in our group wit...

OK I have been here before. Several times and this was my 4th stay in 2013.
First service was good. Restaurant manager -- remembered me and got a good morning every day.

Stayed on the Exec floor. This is one perk that is worth the extra money. Free drinks and light dinner each evening.

One thing that would make this better -- would if the internet would be free in the lounge. At $23 per day this is a rather expensive extra.

Service in the bar/lounge was also good. Food was OK. Had to do some work there one night so we ate in the hotel.

Again location is great -- near Jaffa also near the old train stations with lost of restaurants and night life.

Room Tip: Lounge is worth the extra money.

Great location and sea views, very nice, recently updated rooms, pleasant staff, good value, but....they charge $20 per day per device for wi-fi connectivity in the rooms (though free in the lobby). We happen to have five internet connected devices between the two of us though we can only use two at any time.

To my mind this is the equivalent, in the modern world, and considering also the hotel's actual cost, of charging separately for water: hot water, cold water, shower, toilet.....that will be $80 sir!

Plain silly enough that I wouldn't dream of staying there again, myself.

We moved to a delightful boutique hotel down the street: wi-fi is free! Life is too short!

We were in Tel Aviv for 2 nights. Hotel was across from beach so great location. Has a pool. Only bad thing I can say is that the room needed some updating. Particularly the bathroom. Needs new blow dryer and the half glass shower leaked a lot so was messy. We didn't spend much time in the room so not much else bothered me. As with most hotels these days, free wifi only in the lobby so it got crowded.

Room Tip: ask for a view of the beach

We have stayed at the Dan Panorama for seven days. We had the priveledge of being invited to attend a wedding at Jaffa. The Hotel is walking distance from Jaffa. Old Jaffa is lovely to see the views of TelAviv. Are quite spectacular the square is great to stop for a cool drink or delicious ice cream.
The breakfast is great, though after seven days limited. They cook eggs, waffles, pancakes, but not on Saturday. No one is open from Friday evening until Saturday evening. Most of the people we were with visited friends and family.
If you go to executive class you are invited to the lounge, which provides drink and food, we missed this opportunity because we did not understand it was like an exclusive club.
We enjoyed the wedding which was a once in a lifetime opportunity for us. We did a couple of tours arranged at the Hotel. We covered Jerusalem and Bethlehem, &Masada and the Dead Sea.
The hotel is a good location, but not central. Easy walk to the old station and Market.
The Pool is good to swim in though very cold, the changing rooms and toilets are close to the Pool also a Poolside caffe. The Lounge is great for Wi Fi Reception, and drinks and snacks.
The bedrooms are clean and the view of the beach is an added bonus.
I would recommend this Hotel.

Room Tip: Book an executive room join the lounge and Dan Club, You get Wi Fi in room for an hour a day and 12...
