A good well-run hotel, not new, but slept well, the room was quiet & clean and the bed good. Went with our family of adult children & some extended family. Very comfortable & manager made us feel welcome. Stayed in a larger room on an upper floor. Had a little view of the mediterranean and a small porch. Worth the extra expense. Not a fancy hotel but beds are very comfortable & Israeli breakfast was great. Good for those who don't want to stay in the big chain hotels. Liked the location, were able to walk to Jaffa & to the beach. The beach is fairly close. Reminescent of small european hotels. Our bathroom was updated.
Would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Larger rooms have porch & some have views of mediterranean but partially obstructed by a highris...

I stayed at the City Hotel twice, returning after my first experience.

The rooms were kept extremely clean and good size. The location is absolutely ideal for someone who wants to be in the thick of things in Tel Aviv. A 2 minute walk to the beach and Ben Yehudah is on your doorstep.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much of a bother.

The biggest bonus were the free bicycles which is a great way to get around.

I will absolutely return to City Hotel on my next visit.

This is a great hotel for a stay in tel aviv. It was our last hotel in israel during our visit. And it was the best all over. Nice fresh looking rooms. Very nice people running the hotel. The breakfast was not the biggest we had but it was definitely the best quality. We enjoyed the bikes, oops. Free parking.

The hotel itself is good. Simple design, room is clean, bright and well lit, furnished with very comfortable beds. Excellent location, helpful staff, and good breakfast buffet. Pricey for the size of the room, BUT then again, most hotels and a few commodities in tel-aviv are expensive.

It was a restful stay and we slept quite well in our room until the last two nights when some noisy guests with american accents checked in in the neighboring two rooms. Their hollers and loud convesations in the hallway at night can be heard in our room. I don't know if this is a problem of poor insulation or just rowdy guests, or both.

I reccomend City Hotel Tel-aviv.

Dear Guest,
Thank for choosing again the City Hotel Tel Aviv and for taking the time to write about your experience with us.
I am really pleased to read that we met your expectations, and that you were able to enjoy our bright rooms, the Israeli breakfast and our great location.

We are sorry to hear about the inconvenience you experienced during you last two nights. Unfortunately some guests can speak in louder voices in the hallways than others. This is something which we cannot always control and we do apologize for any disturbance it may have caused you.

we are looking forward to welcoming you back during future visits to Tel Aviv.

We choose a suite that included a couch/living room area in addition to the bedroom area and also had a balcony. The room size was sufficient. There were hardwood floors (not carpeted). The room had a window facing the ocean and one side of the balcony faced to the ocean. The hotel is not fancy but it was simple, clean, and nice. The room looks just like the picture on tripadvisor. Breakfast was included and there were many choices. Parking was also included in the price.

Room Tip: Only the western side of the building will have an ocean view.

Normal hotel with good location, rooms are small, but price for Tel-aviv is ok. Good breakfast with coffee mashine. Ask just for rooms with street and sea view. Approximately two hundred meters from the sea, pharmacy and two grocerys on the street coners, one (frishman street) is working even on saturday, that is important for Israel! A lot of bars and restoraunts on ben iuda.
