My husband and I ended our trip to Israel in Tel Aviv... and stayed at the Cinema Hotel at the recommendation of our travel agent. We had reserved another hotel, but she reserved this hotel "just in case." Well, after seeing the reviews, we cancelled our other room and went with this place. Was she right!!! It is a gorgeous hotel made from an old cinema that some locals said they actually remembered going to as kids (to see movies)! Very neat place to stay, excellent rooms, and great service (they gladly held our bags for us after check-out). We would love to visit it again!

I stayed at the hotel in the weekend of 18.1.13; and I want to say a few words about the hotel:
the location is amazing, next to Dizengoff square in the middle of Tel Aviv.
happy hour on the rooftop and the sauna next to Jacuzzi were absolutely perfect experience.
will glad to come back for another vacation.

With an age range of almost 15 to 80, our family weekend based at The Cinema Hotel was wonderful. The ambience of the hotel was just right and from the excellent breakfast to the 'Happy Hour' rooftop experience - all was just right.

Room Tip: We needed a special disability room and there was an excellent shower which met our needs.

I stayed recently at the Cinema Hotel and had an absolutely perfect experience! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and freshly decorated. The breakfast was outstanding. The location on Diezengoff Circle was great for wandering around the city. And the price was quite reasonable. As a frequent traveler to Israel, I have stayed in several hotels and this was the best. I will certainly stay here again on future visits. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

a beautiful hotel made of 1930s cinema in the very heart of the bauhaus "white city" quarter of tel aviv. if you are in architecture, it is a must. and even if you are not - the location is unbeatable, with walking distance (at least for european person; americans may feel differently) to everywhere in tel aviv you may wish to go.
the pricing is reasonable and breakfasts are generous, and so is the happy hour on terrace with complimentary wine and snacks.
nice and helpful staff helped us with early check-in and was ready to help whenever needed. rooms are nice, clean and cosy, albeit the interior is a bit worn-out - but i believe this is inevitable given the aggressive wet weather of tel aviv...

Room Tip: avoid corner rooms - they are smaller than the standard rooms

This is the hotel with very good cost + location. Its the center of the city and you can reach any where you want to go. It has great view (water fountain) from terrace, the best part is the complementry breakfast and evening snacks with wine. They have sauna, jacuzi which really gives a pleasure to stay there. They have very good staff very helpful to find you right places to go. The view outside the hotel is very happening and you will find people roming around all the time 24*7.

Room Tip: This is nice place to be at. Just center of Tel Aviv and amazing transport availablity anytime.

We spent three nights at the Cinema Hotel In December 2012. The cinema theme is fun and followed thru with amazing detail throughout the hotel which made it an interesting to stay. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very hospital with Happy Hour plus with free wine and nibbles in the evening. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was scrumptious. It is in the heart of Tel Aviv as well. We thoroughly recommend this boutique hotel.
