We stayed the weekend ( 2 adults + 3 kids) and enjoyed it very much.
We got 2 rooms with interconnecting doors.
The hotel Cinema theme is very unique with old cinema artifacts/camera's and posters around.
Kids loved the free popcorn and old movies played in the lobby.
Breakfast was very good.
The terrace on the 4th floor is nice overlooking the Dizingoff fountain.

The location is right at the center of Tel -Aviv with walking distance to all locations.
Overall the boutique hotel is recommended, i still remember when it was a movie theater ...

We stayed in the Cinema Hotel in Tel Aviv for 8 nights recently. Check in was very efficient. Our room was extremely small and would have been fine for a short stay but not for a week. After the first night we asked if we could move to a bigger room and were immediately moved.
The second room was a bit bigger but had a tiny bathroom which wasn't an issue. Unfortunately, this room was on the second floor and was overlooking Dizengoff Square and was very noisy all night long. We could have asked to move again and probably should have because we didn't sleep properly for the entire week with the constant noise!
Breakfast was included and was an adequate buffet breakfast but nothing special. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there are complimentary snacks and wine in the evening. However, it would have been nice to be able to eat in the hotel after a days work or even get room service.
The hotel is centrally located but a good 10 minute walk from the beach.
Overall, this is a good, clean, functional business hotel. Service could be described as hit and miss - some staff at the front desk were very helpful, others behaved like it was an effort to speak to you.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel

The hotel is in a very central location and the main roads are a very short distance from the hotel.
The hotel from the outside and lobby look very charming. Inside the hotel there are various memorabilia from the early age of cinema and photography.
The rooms are small and basic. My room had a bed, bed side cabinet, tv and a phone, there was an area to hang clothes, but no cupboard. The bathroom is also very small, it is kept in good condition.

The hotel room is really a 'no frills' type of room, it really is a basic, small room.
The bed proved to be an issue for me, mine was simply an uncomfortable bed and I struggled to fall asleep.

There is one ironing room in the hotel, where there is a fixed ironing board and steam iron.
The hotel does have wi-fi which works well.

The breakfast area is decent, there is fairly good selection of food.
The check in and check out process was straightforward without any issues and the staff are helpful.

This is the hotel where I spend my nights when visiting Tel Aviv. Center location, friendly service, a few free parking places, if you come early enough, good breakfast, well equipped rooms. Don't miss the look out at night from the 5th floor window to the fountain. A little pricey for the accommodation and amenities, but the savings in within city transport costs and time makes up the difference.

Room Tip: 5th floor, facing the fountain

My husband and I spent two nights at the Cinema Hotel. We found the room to be lovely, the old movie decor charming, the breakfasts excellent (wide variety of food) and the hotel staff very helpful. Ask for a room facing the fountain for a lovely view.

This was a very cute hotel! The service was very good and everyone was very attetive to our needs. However, for the price the rooms were a little small, yet well appointed. The bathroom was very up-to-date. What made this hotel very good was its location. It's right by Dizengoff Square and within easy walking distance to everything; like shopping and restaurants. My wife and I walked to the Carmel Shuk with ease. The breakfast was typical Israeli, a buffet like you get at most hotels in Israel; adiquate but nothing extra special. What blew us away was the Tuesday night happy hour on the patio; free wine and snacks. We were able to socilize with the other guests, from around the world and this made for a very enjoyable evening. I have no problem recommending you staying here.
