Leonardo Beach Tel Aviv Hotel
Ranked #64 of 102 Hotels in Tel Aviv

This hotel is located right across from the ocean in Tel-Aviv. It is a Euro Style hotel which means the bathroom is extremely small and the rooms are a bit stark, but very clean. The breakfast is a fantastic buffet of cakes, breads, puddings, fish, and everything a hotel in Tel-Aviv has to offer. In addition they have espressos, coffee, and tons of juices and milk products.

Please beware that the AC is turned off in winter to save power. You simply open a window. If you get a good rate with breakfast, this hotel will do just fine.

Room Tip: Make sure if you want a quiet room, pick a newer hotel as they are well insulated.

My friends and I booked the hotel for 2 nights, and the hotel is at a very convenient location. It was a 5 min drive to all the local clubs, a few minutes walk to the loveliest restaurants. Right when you leave the door of the hotel you see the beach, it has been one of the best vacations I've had. Although there are some issues at the hotel. The pool isn't what I had expected at all, it's very small and surrounded by building walls. The hotel doesn't include breakfast you have to pay extra for this option, and our room was quite small. After the first night we were there the room was a mess since we were at the beach, and the room and sheets became full of sand, yet when the room was cleaned the same sheets stayed on the bed. They didn't change the sheets, they just rearranged them. Other than that it was wonderful, but mostly because it was perfect location.

We booked a room for three on a Friday in mid-August 2012. We got a large enough room, clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was pleasant and welcoming, the food in the dining room was rich and delicious, the pool was small but clean and comfortable, in the bar we found nice things to drink and eat between meals and in good prices, the hotel's location is very centeraly. In short an excellent hotel for those who looking for a convenient and pleasant pastime in Tel Aviv with a reasonable price.

Room Tip: Ask for Sea view or pool view. If you are with a car call and do a res for parking 40 nis a day

Yesterday afternoon, after a long walk in Tel- Aviv, my boyfriend and I have decided to book a night at a nice hotel along the shore. We have searched online and came across the Leonardo Basel Hotel. The prices, accommodation and location were very tempting, so we have decided to go for it! Turned out our decision was worthwhile. At the end of the day 4-5 star hotels are all the same, however at Leonardo's the hospitality and staff (especially front desk receptionist Miss Elene) made our stay not only amazing but perfect.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a sea view, they are the best.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights this month. Centrally located hotel across from the beach with good facilities. What made my stay at this hotel fantastic was the professionalism and eagerness to help of the front desk staff, particularly Leela.

Room Tip: Ask for Leela.

My wife and I had an enjoyable 5 day stay at the Leonardo Basel. The staff were incredibly friendly, Michael in particular and everyone was keen to assist me. The room was OK. The bathroom was a little small, but adequate, and the Wi-Fi was good standard. Recommended.
