This hotel is situated on the Tel Aviv sea front with great access to the beach.

The hotel is fairly old but kept in good condition, the rooms are small but well appointed.

The staff are really friendly and that makes a difference.

The breakfast is nice but nothing special. The dining room is on the ground level so you can see directly on to the beach.

I choose this hotel based on the very competitive price and previous reviews. We were not in any way disappointed.

It's for sure not the most luxurious hotel in Tel Aviv but is anyway a nice place to stay. It has a little bit of character of its own.

Our rooms over looked the beach from the 11th floor. Although the sea front is busy we were never bothered by the noise, although you do hear the neighbours TV from time to time, as with many hotels with small rooms.

Mostly I liked that everything you need is in walking distance.

Recommended.

We stay at the Renaissance almost every year. We get the warmest family welcome you can imagine, from bell hops, staff and of course management. It is situated right on the beach. The lobby is gorgeous! Breakfast is delicious, a yummy spread! It is always a wonderful feeling checking in!
The rooms are updated constantly......It is the place to stay!!

Room Tip: You have two choices: one a stunning view of Jaffa, or the Marina view, which is also nice! All are...

We stayed At the Renaissance in Tel Aviv as the final part of our Israel trip in June. we enjoyed our trip but found this hotel to be a disappointment. Service was always lacking. Hotel looked tired. Internet was impossible. Manager was condescending when things brought to his attention. In general Israel yes, Renaissance was a total disappointment.

Stayed here in feb of 2013. Hotel is in a nice and safe location along the beach . The exec lounge is small. Our room had partial water view. Overall above avg, but not among the best ren hotels we have stayed at. Within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We would however probably stay here if we end up in tel aviv again, which is a lovely city

This is my first experience of staying right on the beach in Tel Aviv. My three previous visits were across the street. The location - stepping right in that silky sand was wonderful. The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. The rooms were very nice and all with water views. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Room Tip: All were good!

We have stayed numerous times in the Renaissance Hotel in Tel Aviv and have found it to be an extraordinary place to be either for business or pleasure. Staff members from the hotel manager to the front desk staff to the bell staff to the housekeeping staff go out of their way to be accommodating.

The hotel is beautifully kept and situated on the beach minutes from downtown Tel Aviv and from the Old City of Jaffa.

The restaurant is excellent with a terrific breakfast; the downstairs bar and concierge lounge are elegant respites.

It is our home away from home when in Israel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony and a view of the beach.

To start, let me say that you cannot fault the location of the Renaissance hotel and the consequent view from the rooms and the staff are quite pleasant but that is where the positives end.

I had the misfortune to spend 6 night at the hotel last month whilst I was on business. My room was incredibly shabby and was well overdue for repair and decoration. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable - I've slept on better camp beds. The air-conditioning unit leaked. The bathroom was like something out of the mid 1980s, the shower head clearly having a prostate problem. The breakfast was just about passable. All this for the princely sum of $280 per night.

I know accommodation in Tel Aviv is expensive but honestly, the Renaissance does not offer value for money, unless you are willing to trade-off hotel quality against location. Personally, I will look for better quality accommodation in a less picturesque location for my next visit to Tel Aviv.
