Description: Kitchen Market is a contemporary fusion restaurant above the farmers' market in Tel Aviv's famous port Namal which is a popular destination for foodies. The market is a source of the finest ingredients, brought up straight to the kitchen. Pure flavors, made with passion by talented Israeli chef Yossi Shitrit, for people that love food. Overlooking the lively harbor and food market you can enjoy a great and bustling atmosphere while eating dinner, ending your evening with a stunning and romantic ocean view sunset.

My second time, and yet haven't changed my opinion. High quality products cooked and severed in a very propitiate manner. Fair deal for lunch, a bit too expensive for dinner

Market Kitchen is a very good restaurant of the type one would expect to find in any major, cosmopolitan city. It's a sign of the sophisticated food scene in Tel Aviv that places like Market Kitchen exist there; good food presented without fuss in a cleanly designed place. And, nice views over the harbor. For me, one of the small signifiers of a restaurant's quality and attention to detail is whether, when one orders a dish with artichoke hearts in it, these are of the type that comes out of a can (which happens most often) or whether they are freshly cooked. At Market Kitchen they were thankfully the latter, served with polenta. Delicious. We also had the pizza, which was very good.

How extremely good is the food in this restaurant but how extremely loud is this place and how extremely bad is the service in this restaurant . Located above a fruit and vegetable market on a prime location on Tel Aviv beach . This place could realy be ideal for a romantic lunch or dinner but total lack of privacy as tables are very close to each other loud music and amateuristic rude and bad service is a real shame for the people working in the kithen , preparing food to a near perfection . Imaginative local cuisine with local produce infused with asian as european touches. Wine list is interesting with large choice of local and foreign wines , total price for a short stay in this restaurant was aceptable .

A winemaker/cookbook author friend suggested this restaurant. It was quite good and had the best service we've had during our trip to Israel.

At lunch we started with a sensational dish of sautéed calamari with curry yogurt foam great stuff and the squid was perfectly cooked. We also shared house baked breads with excellent olive oil. For our second course we had a pizza with cambonzola cheese and sautéed mushrooms. The tomato sauce and ingredients were first rate, but the crust needed work. Tasty but not cooked as much as I would have had my pizziola do it.

Great wine list concentrating on the best of the local Israeli wine scene. This restaurant would feel at home in NYC or SF or any other world class city. Great place to go for any occasion.

This is not a three stars restaurant but the quality of the food is very surprising compare to the environment. First I like sweetbreads and they have a peculiarly good way to make them. The restaurant is located on the port of Tel-Av iv and on the second floor. If you are lucky you get the view, if not you still have the food. We tried the carpaccio, the sweetbreads, the fish and the shrimps. All the dishes are new in the presentation and in the research of taste. The service is made by young people maybe informal but very pleasant and making sure to serve you as fast as possible. If you are on the port of Tel-aviv a good place to stop.
