“Nice family place”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

Very good for families. Not the best food nor the best service. But the value for money is ok. I liked the bread with tomato sauce, liked the Carbonara pasta- though they didn't put enough meet.

“Italian food at its' best”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

We had a family get together there and the place was ideal. Informal and family oriented. Very helpful staff helped with rearranging the tables to suit our group. Service was fast enough, although the lasagne came last as usual.
Not noisy and would suit a casual evening out for couples too, although the atmosphere was no way romantic.I'd recommend going later than the 7.30pm that we visited, after the young families have left.
One points that we didn't appreciate was that bread was not supplied as part of any meal and a very tasty focaccia cost an extra $5. It was very good, so we forgave them and will return.
Prices were middle range, with most main courses costing $15, fish around $25.

“Dissapointing return”
Reviewed October 18, 2012

I've eaten at JOYA a number of times, most of them in the evenings, and both service and food was excellent.

This review refers to a my latest visit for a Business Lunch.

Service was bad, apparently a table of 7 was too much to handle: People received their dishes at different times, some people were done while others had not received their order main course. Way after having ordered, we were told that this or that dish is not available. It seems that kitchen and the waiters did not know what's going on their side. My dish warm (but not hot)

I have eaten many times at Joya, but in the evenings and the service and food were great, disappointing return. We were offered a small discount.

“Fusion Italian at its best”
Reviewed September 6, 2012

Fusion Italian at its best. The atmosphere is amazing, whether you go to Tel Aviv, Ramat Hasharon or Hertzlya. Good service, and food is impaccible. Traditional dishes with modern fusion touch, I just love their pizzas, pastas, and the lovely use of truffles and truffles oil when needed. I recommend this place highly for couples and families alike.
