“The best way to celebrate your anniversary”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 25, 2013

From the moment we stepped into the Rothschild Hotel we were treated like we were the only guests that matter! The hotel manager and owner himself made it a priority to talk to us, made sure we were satisfied with everything and clarified all of the options that were at our disposal. The atmosphere was elegant - the beautiful decor was picked with clear attention to every detail - the facilities were pampering (the towels and bath products were AMAZING!!!) - and needless to say everything was sparkling clean.
And last but not least, the restaurant in the hotel lobby was wonderful! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, special but not over-"fancy", with service among the best seen in Israeli restaurants.
As you can tell - we LOVED it!

we live in telaviv....10 minutes walk from the hotel. for my birthday michal my wife suprise me with a night at the Rothschild hotel. at first i told my self "what the hell...we live just next door..."
but it was really like re-discovering the city. it s all about the point of view..and from our room on the 3 floor we had an amazing point of view on the boulevard...funny it was like being a tourist in my home town....but mostly the success of that night is because of the hotel, the atmosphere was so unique, that for a moment we really felt out of the ordinary....and that s what you look for ....feeling special for one day...
so thanks to the all staff of the hotel for having all the details so right, for making this day so special for us <3

Room Tip: for those who want to get the tel aviv atmosphere, ask for the room with the nice balcony with a vie...

Have traveled extensively throughout Israel for years and have stayed at the best of hotels. This hotel is by far my new favorite. The minute you enter the hotel you know you have arrived at a truly unique place. No detail has been overlooked. Was warmly greeted by front desk staff and the owner himself who was frequently on property. Reception area albeit small by big hotel standards has it all, arty yet homey, sophisticated yet welcoming including a fully stopped bar and an amazing restaurant. The hotel has managed to preserve the past but has not overlooked any modern comforts. Hotel room was beautifully appointed, as was the bathroom all of which was impeccably clean. Although I have typically stayed on the beachfront in the past this location offers so much more. I felt like I was in the heart of it all. Dizengoff street, Jaffa, Neve Tzedek, the Carmel market and the beach are all within easy walking distance. The hotel is surrounded by the most interesting architecture in all of Tel Aviv, including great restaurants, small cafes, boutique shops, galleries and a real neighborhood feeling. For those interested in using "city bikes" to get around, there is a bike stop nearly inf front of the hotel and a bike path leading from the hotel (no cars) which made our travel so much more fun.Yes, sounds too good to be true but this place is the real deal!

Room Tip: Stayed in one of the larger rooms on the second floor facing the back which was real quiet.

We arrived during Hanukkah, and when we reached the lobby, staff were just lighting candles, and offering homemade doughnuts. A staff member warmly said, "You've arrived just on time!", and subtly waited until we got our acts together. Then they lit the candles and sang Hanukkah songs, with some other guests joining in. What a warm and charming welcome, and the hospitality remained focused on the guests during our entire stay. They went out of their way for every detail and request. This was a warm and lovely welcome, having just arrived from the airport after a 15 hour journey!

The hotel is beautiful, and very elegant and cozy, and the rooms spotlessly clean and gorgeous, and comfortable. Many times we just wanted to curl up and hang around, instead of going out siteseeing. We accomplished both, and the Rothschild is a warm and welcoming environment to come back to at the end of a busy day.

Great emphasis should be made on eating there: the breakfasts were full and delicious, and the dinners were 7-star. The chef trained in Michelin kitchens in Europe, and if this very professional kitchen does not have Michelin stars, it should. Every detail is paid attention to. We're vegetarians, which is not really a problem with Mediterranean cuisine, but could get repetitive. The menu here is innovative and unique. If I was a citizen of Tel Aviv, this would be my go-to restaurant for family celebrations, birthday and anniversary dinners, corporate business dinners when it is necessary to impress, and any time I wanted an outstanding meal. No other restaurant we tried in town compared.

The staff and owner are constantly available to the guests, and know answers to all manner of questions. Their friendliness, hospitality, and professionalism is unmatched anywhere else we travelled throughout the country. We compared every place afterwards to the Rothschild, and were really reluctant to leave.

This hotel/restaurant are the epitome of what excellence in the hospitality industry is, and should be the example for all the rest!

Room Tip: Higher floor rooms have a large deck, with a spotless jacuzzi. Even the rooms facing the street are...

When we planned our vacation we had no doubt that the hotel we will select would be the Rothschild hotel and so we found ourselves returning to the hotel the second time in the last four months.
The reason for the vacation was my birthday although there is no need to excuses to go back and stay in this hotel -The design hotel, the charming staff, unusual breakfast, central location on Rothschild Blvd. We enjoyed every minute of it. No doubt that we'll get back a third time

There was nothing not to like about our stay at the Rothschild. Our room was beautifully appointed, the staff gracious, friendly and helpful….and breakfast delicious. The location on Rothschild Blvd is central and perfect for strolling. It's a gem and a fine value.

The Rothschild does not lack from positive reviews but I feel I should comment on what was really a great experience. We took two rooms, one with my wife & another with my brother & his wife. The rooms were comfortable, beautiful with a hundred thoughtful touches (an electric outlet in the safe?, towels that must weigh 5 kilo, a leather chair that I wanted to take home etc. etc.) Just a floor above a very busy Sderot Rothschild but somehow a very quiet room. The staff seemed very relaxed & they were very friendly & helpful. Our last morning the barista came in late but the staff effortlessly filled in and provided seamless service. I so appreciate when a staff can work together & you see they have mutual respect & show kindness to each other. This hotel is a national treasure.

Dear ErnieS50,

It is amazing. Our hotel was established over a year ago, and yet we feel so a great deal of excitement while reading the reviews of our dear guests. Thank you so much for such a precious gift!

The hotel came into being with much love and attention to detail. The owner of the property wished to create a remarkable experience by an unusual hospitality concept. This experience is intensified by a handpicked family-like staff.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and encourage you to be back soon!

Kind regards,
The Rothschild Hotel Team
