Fine service. Comfortable rooms. Great staff, all in the hippest part of Tel Aviv. Don't miss it. Our flight to the states left at 11:00p, and they had a half day rate so we might keep the room until we left

I think this might be my new favourite hotel!
We arrived in Tel Aviv after a long, slow drive from Haifa, at about 11pm. The young woman who received us was charming and gracious, and offered us an upgrade to a quite lovely Executive Suite. It was, in spite of the location, very quiet. The bedroom was small, but the bathroom, and living room were spacious and beautifully appointed.
They allow guests to purchase the art in the public ares, and the suites, and if you fall in love with one of the many design books on their shelves, they'll let you take it home with you!

I come to Tel Aviv regularly on business, and always return to the Rotschild. The location is perfect, the rooms are elegant and well apponted, and the staff could not be more friendly or helpful. It's just a lovely place, and I always look forward to seeing my friends Zehavit and Alon and others.

very well located in the real heart of Tel Aviv. Rooms are quite roomy for the so called "suites".
Little details make a lot of difference: fee access to wifi in your room - printer in your room - nespresso machine and free local phone calls (fixed or mobile in Israel).

Staff is real nice and attentive. all you can expect from a boutique hotel being rich of a family history. We are far away from the usual big chains prevailing in the country for a decent price.

Special attention to Zehavit, the reception manager: combination of kindness - profesionnalism and joy for life !

Room Tip: suggest to pick up Suites room

We had a great time at the Rothschild. The rooms are modern, well-appointed and comfortable. There is a port to charge your ipod or iphone. An espresso machine and cookies are situated downstairs for the convenience of the guests. Croissants were served in the morning.

Hotel Rothschild presents a sophisticated, but nonetheless, laid-back and casual environment that put us at ease immediately. All staff members are more than willing to share their comprehensive information on sites, find restaurants for Israeli food, European food, or any other cuisine you might desire, help you find the train station, etc. The beautifully restored Bauhaus building which forms the core of the Rothschild is open and airy, and houses a graceful and substantial central staircase. (There is also an elevator.) The location is on a grand boulevard. You can walk down the park-like grassy area in the middle of the Boulevard to Neveh Tzedek, or Independence Hall, or begin a walk to Jaffa. There are many interesting restaurants close-by. We recommend Ha Shulhan, next door to the hotel. When in Jaffa, try the shakshuka, a tomato and egg dish, at Café Puah.
