I am conflicted in writing this review, because the long line in the entrance to fu suchi might get even longer.
The sushi there is amazing! Soft and fresh, and after eating at diiferent places in Tel aviv this is for sure the best. The prices are a bit high but I noticed that there are lunches with reduced prices, So I will defenitly go try them.

The dishes were presented quite well, but tasted like low grade fast-food sushi.
Service was awful - the hostess set down with her legs on a chair daydreaming. We had to interrupt her to make our orders.
Food was bad: Rice had no individuality. Some of the dishes were very salty. The sauces were not very much to my liking. Prices were too high for grade, considering what is available several blocks away.

The only good thing is the ice-cream nearby, which is as good as Rome's finest.

When you give more importance to look then substance, you are shallow! That is the best compliment I can do to this place.
The ambiance is great the decor is beautiful, the plates are very pretty but the flavor....blant, mediocre at best.
To expensive for the quality showed. I will not be back.

OK I didn't personally eat here once a week--I try to avoid too much tuna--but my friends definitely did. FU is by far the best sushi in Tel Aviv. FU is in an adorable fun little neighborhood and located near the beach (much like everything else in Tel Aviv). I never got a chance to order the sushi balls but they looked delicious. The garden salads are huge and the fish is very fresh. Sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Tel Avivan scene.

These guys really know what they're doing. The selection is great and the service is excellent. But, if you like spicy food -- and if you've got an appetite -- try starting with the Tom Yam soup with seafood. It's sharp on the tongue and delicious. There's indoor and outdoor seating and a well stocked bar, too. If you really want to feel the Tel Aviv scene, sit outside and watch the world go by -- or try to get into the restaurant. Especially from spring to late fall the joint is jumping almost non-stop -- and the natives are friendly!,
