Although the price is better here than others...Its obvious why! My friend and I had a very bad experience during our stay at the Beachfront Hotel. The rooms were basic and dirty (see pics below) There were cockroaches, serious mold in the bathroom (shower area), broken A/C and very bad service. During the nights, we got little to no sleep because we constantly woken up by the A/C. The A/C always turned itself off, which made it very hot in the room and also caused a VERY unpleasant smell, which we think was caused by all the mold in the bathroom.. I would not recommend you to stay at the Beachfront, it caused more stress than relaxation. We did tell the reception about the problems, but they were not at all helpful and never fixed our problems (one tried to help, the rest were unfriendly)! We spent as little time possible in the hotel...but at least it had a good location! DONT GO HERE!

Other than the great location, this place was fairly poor for the price. It’s more like a quiet hostel than a hotel. Dirty basic room, comfortable enough bed, wifi and air conditioner worked fine, there was a mouldy shower curtain in the ensuite bathroom - the bathroom always ended up flooded despite best attempts to keep it dry. Water gurgling noises in the roof from the floor above, and the place smelled a bit. 1 of the 3 reception staff we dealt with (the guy) was very helpful. Would we stay here again? No - we extended our Tel Aviv stay by 1 night and spent that at the Port Hotel up the road, where we paid less money for a MUCH nicer place with breakfast included, plus it's in a more local part of town.

tel-aviv is a crowdy and expensive place, so don't expect 5+ stars when booking the beachfront - you get what you pay. i would definitely book again when in tel-aviv.

I didn't come to Israel to spend time in my room. Of course, I want a super clean room & decent bathroom fixtures, a good mattress, etc. Here, we got a super clean room, tiny but decent bathroom, sweet smelling white soft towels, crisp & white bed sheets with a fantastic duvet, fine pillows, a mini fridge, powerful A/C that we controlled, a flat screen TV, a woody locker type closet, it's own patio with very comfy lounger chairs, a plastic coffee table and extra chairs, directly facing the sea & a setting pink sun. What more can you possibly want for such a bargain. You also have a little plaza of stores, some stay open 24 hrs, variety stores sell wine, etc., great restaurants, and if you purchase a coupon from them you can have a delicious all-day breakfast next door for a great price. Cool Resturant right on beach. I think it's a real great place to stay. The staff were fine, laughed at my Hebrew, helped me out with a phonecall to a friend when explaining the location in Hebrew. But the view, the view, the view...

This is a youth hostel that wants to be treated like a hotel: the shag carpets in reception area, mold on shower curtains, stains on the walls by trash cans, fresh towels that turn out to be stained (front desk is happy to swap it out), spartan rooms - all make it ideal for budget-conscious travelers who do not mind a few discomforts.

The location is excellent - right on the beach, easily accessible by city buses, many of which have stops on Ben Yehuda street two blocks inland. Can walk to attractions such as old Jaffa (40 minutes), Ruben museum (15 minutes). The staff is very helpful and accommodating. A/C in the room is very good. An outdoor locker safe is provided for extra peace of mind.

Even if your reservation confirmation says "en-suite room with a sea-view balcony", do not expect to get a balcony or sea-view unless you get a written confirmation from the hotel well in advance. Apparently, the terms "sea-view" and "balcony" are draw-ins, not promises.

Room Tip: Only ground floor rooms are en-suite. Only the front row of rooms have sea-view and balcony. The bac...

Relatively cheap hotel in Tel Aviv. Nice location right on the beach, close to city center. The hotel's building is outdated and needs renovation. Area around the hotel is really dirty, lots of litter everywhere, but it is a common sight all over in Tel Aviv. Staff is indifferent, not eager to help or solve accommodation problems. Good location and relatively low cost overweight the negative side though.

Great location directly at the beach, our room included a patio directly at the seafront. Rooms were cleaned daily. Staff was extremely helpful and always very nice!
