for the price I paid, I expected something more.
my room was on the 9th floor, that should be above the average standards compared to the lower floors, but it wasn't outstanding at all

nothing to complain, but also nothing that make you feel in a special place
the room is also smaller than expected.

There is no restaurant serving dinner in the hotel, but there are several of them in the neighborough

Booked through Last minute - room had sea view! the staff were really helpful from day one...they have free bikes which really made Tel Aviv so accessible.
Breakfast spread is super and although the rooms are quite small and I imagine they could be noisy on the lower levels - we couldnt ask for more.....
The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard - we left the rooms in the morning pretty messy and sandy - but each night we came back they were immaculate. Maybe if I was being fussy I would have liked some de-caff tea-bags but really that is the only suggestion!

Room Tip: Ask for high floor for sea view or away from road

We returned to the Mercure Tel Aviv because the location is perfect, the onsite parking is convenient, and the staff was fantastic.
I'd forgotten just how clean the hotel is and how generous the spread at breakfast.

Splurge on a Premium Sea View room for wonderful views at off beach price.

Last Friday I booked a double room for my wife and myself via some website on the internet.
We arrive at the hotel at about 22:00 for one night , the reception guy was very rude and unfriendly , I asked to open the parking for me he said it was full , I had to go and find a parking far from the hotel and paid 20 us$ for it , more than that I checked the parking lot and found out there were at least 2 free parking spots.
At a certain point the reception guy lost his temper and all of a sudden asked someone else to take care of us????????
The room was very small and old fashioned not the quality we had seen last time we were at this hotel
During breakfast we had a very umpleasant and embarrassing moment when we were told that the roomn is only for one person and we cannot have breakfast (the two of us) I explained that we booked a double room for two persons, after quite a long time and some phone callings they approved that we can have breakfast .In short the hotel staff managed to spoil our weekend , I'll never come back to this hotel.

We stayed in the penthouse (top floor, Superior Double room with sea view) and it was awesome. Spectacular views from the terrace and even from the bed to the sea and to the amazing sunset over the sea. Sunbeds in the terrace to sunbathe in the afternoon and relax at night. Really worthwile. Even if it is not a front line hotel, it is even better if you book a room or suite with private terrace in the last floor. However, 2 enormous luxury hotels just started to be built and they will probably and partially hide the sunset over the sea.
The room is modern and very confortable. Free wifi Ok.
Very good breakfast with international and local food.
Kind and professional staff. Since it is a French group, a part o Hebrew and English the also spoke French.
I strongly recommend it for its good value for money.

Breakfast was a huge choice of hot food, cereal fruit and salad...very nice. The location is good as its just two blocks from the beach and a bit further to Carmel market. The room was functional and the free wifi worked. The bathroom was not spotless when I arrived. The exercise room was just a hotel room with very few machines and limited hours. The staff were helpful and pleasant.
