“New name and better than ever!”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

Maybe I should be pleased that the re-named Adega tchernicovsky is not more popular with Trip Advisor reviewers as it's still possible to book only a few days in advance for a table on Saturday for lunch in this small restaurant. But I think that Dalia and Eyal deserve better than this and I urge readers who've never been to hurry and experience an outstanding meal.
I started with a green salad with goat's cheese and fruit. Unlike many restaurants the serving was the right size for a first course (not mounds of greenery to fill you up and make you feel you're getting value for money), the crisp fresh lettuce with lightly caramelized goat's cheese and persimmon in a tangy vinaigrette. I followed it with sirloin steak, requested and served rare - so many restuarants can't manage this and serve the steak 'medium' rather than take a risk - with crispy potatoes. My companion ordered his usual chopped liver and beef stroganoff and was very happy. But then he's only there for the dessert - in this case a creme brulee with delicate crunch 'brulee' and parfait of white chocolate with forest fruits. Divine!
The service, which has occasionally been the weak point was back on form with two very competent and friendly staff - glad to say they were attentive without being pushy. Altogether a very successful outing, and one to be repeated.

Been in this restaurant again and again, and the food is always excellent, very nice wine collection, the atmosphere pleasant, the owners are always on site. Nice for romantic dinner, family gathering or eating with friends. Highly recommended.

“charming spot in centre of Tel Aviv”
Reviewed June 7, 2012

This is a really charming pace which serves both as a bar and a restaurant.
After seeing many enthusiastic review we decided to try it out.
The place looks very ordinary, but the food is outstanding.
Also, it is clear that they really understand wines.
