“Everything I hoped for”

I was in Tel Aviv for business that took me all over Israel during a week and the West was a perfect home base. Close enough to Tel Aviv to get into the city easily but far enough outside that I could avoid the traffic to the other locations I needed to go to. Then, every evening I came "home" to a great beach, a clean and comfortable suite, and great service. Perfect!

Everything in this hotel is up-to-date and very contemporary. Comfortalbe and quiet and well run. Just a few minutes from the lively scenes of Tel Aviv. Not to be missed!

One bedroom flats with a large balcony and fridge as well as microwave are included. That means you can save some calories and shekels taking some of the meals in your own "home" away from home.

Room Tip: All suits are equally nice.

We stayed for two nights very recently . Two rooms - two couples with children sharing with parents .Hotel has excellent staff ( polite , helpful ) and excellent parking. We considered its location -by car five minutes to Herztlyia and 15 minutes to Tel Aviv - ideal . Close enough but quiet and convenient - car essential
The hotel is modern and crisp and we found rooms and public areas very clean, pool and pool area - excellent .More than adequate gym
Rooms are well designed with adequate kitchen facilities , quite spacious , comfortable design (except the bed) good TVs . Good shower and plentiful hot water. Breakfast ( included ) was very good .
The public beach nearby ( few minutes walk) is a real bonus - children's play areas, outdoor gym equipment and a very good cafe . Beach was cleaned every morning and was immaculate - attracted large crowds but stretched to Hertzlyia so no problems for space
Would definitely stay at West Boutique again
Minor complaints 1/ Bed and linen - poor quality , could and should be upgraded 2/ $22 for 24 hour WIFI is a rip off and inexcusable

Room Tip: Seems to depend on how much you want to spend .Pay more get a better view and higher up in the build...

This is approximately the 1 millionth time I stayed in the Tel Aviv/Herzliya area and finally I found a good and reasonably priced hotel. It's clean. Nothing is broken. The doors lock and the showers work. The staff is friendly. It's a suite. There's real coffee and a real coffee maker. Internet and Breakfast included in the rate. There's a parking space for me. There's a gym and a beach and sometimes a pool (if you're into such things). What else can a traveler desire!? Count me in for a repeat. What's more -- it's not just "not bad" (the standard for TA hotels), it's actually "good".

Yes, I use a car in Tel Aviv - if you don't, get a taxi and be surprised how close West is to anything useful. I'm here on business, but if I were to take my family, this is the place I'd go to no second thoughts. If you're the beachy type, note that the hotel is not ON the beach, but just a very short walk through the dunes.

Hotel is bottom 7 or so floors, top floors seem to be private apartments. It's a pretty compact building meaning that the corridors are short and there are 4 elevators which is plenty - no waiting. All windows have electrically operated blinds which completely shut out the light & provide 100% privacy. Word of warning: With the blinds shut, the sun WILL NOT wake you up after your jet-lagged flight. Don't blame me if you miss your meeting. Hotel doesn't provide alarm clocks (didn't you bring your phone?) but PLENTY of power outlets -- unusual in an IL hotel.

Please note: West is NOT responsible for the weather in January...

PS -- I just want to complement the staff on being THE FRIENDLIEST I've ever met in Tel Aviv hotels. Way to go! You're setting the standard here.

Room Tip: Try to get one on the "front" of the hotel, they're a little bigger than the ones in t...

Overall hotel is nice.

The good:
- Rooms are big and well apportioned
- Total blackout blinds make for a very good nights sleep
- Breakfast is excellent
- Beach is just around the corner and very close.

Other than that:
- Staff is not very friendly (although this is relatively common in Tel Aviv based on our experience)
- Internet is spotty, and when you get error messages instead of helping you the hotel will transfer you to outsourced tech support which is a huge time suck
- The very beautiful looking pool was very much empty and without water in December (not sure if it's maintenance, but check before booking!)

In terms of location it's in a bit of a dead spot, which was ok by me because it was close to the office but if you're expecting night-life you'll have to cab it.
