“Best italian in Israel!”
Reviewed August 28, 2014

I used to frequent this restaurant every time I was in Israel with my sister! I then began taking family there every time I was in tel-aviv! The food is great! The atmosphere is quaint and cozy with a warm upstairs! Beautiful location and wonderful staff! The chef is so great and friendly and keeps us coming back every time we are I. Israel! Thank you for many great experiences!

“Fresh pasta's, nice atmosphere”
Reviewed August 24, 2014

A very small but very nice restaurant. The food tastes delicious, the sizes are quit big, the staff is very friendly and the restaurant is nice to sit at. On ground level there are only a few tables (so make a reservation!), upstairs is a winebar where you can also eat. Owners are friendly. Prices are a bit higher than in other small restaurants, but are not high in comparison to Europe prices. Go and have very yummy pasta, and drink great wine!

“Excellent Italian food !”
Reviewed August 13, 2014

We have eaten at this restaurant several times and we are never disappointed. This visit was no exception - simple, tasty and fresh Italian pizza and pasta dishes (dairy).

“Extremely poor”
Reviewed July 25, 2014

We visited this restaurant on a recent visit to Tel Aviv - after stopping outside, we checked TripAdvisor and seeing the good reviews went in.

We sat at the bar upstairs - the decor is nice, homely and traditional, but unfortunately that was really the only positive.

The menu is extremely limited - this isn't an Italian restaurant as it only serves vegetarian pasta dishes, and a small selection of veggie pizzas - no meat or fish dishes.

We shared a garlic bread for starter - this was a plate of dry pieces of bread which actually hardly tasted of garlic - poor.

Bearing in mind pasta is supposed to be the speciality, it was spectacularly poorly executed. We tried the spaghetti with sun-dried tomato and other veg. The pasta was dry beyond belief, clearly not made to order. There was no pasta sauce as such, just a few vegetables stirred into the dry pasta. Really quite bizarre. The other pasta dish was slightly better, but again you would find much better in any chain Italian restaurant.

To add to this, when we asked for parmesan, the waiter got it out of a tupperware already grated in the fridge. Surely an Italian restaurant should be offering freshly grated parmesan?!

We left feeling quite surprised - who is writing all these other reviews, and is this really the best pasta they have ever eaten...?

“So simple, so delicous”
Reviewed July 5, 2014

It feels like you enter a humble trattoria in Italy. Dishes are so simple and not-trendy: great tomatoes, super olive oil and garlic. That's it- and it's perfect!
The pizza served only with fresh mozzarella- one of the best in Tel Aviv.
Dishes are reasonably priced- between 47 to 63 NIS.
Atmosphere is very romantic. Impressive wine list.
Great option for an unpretentiousJuly evening dinner. 120 P.P with wine and a starter.
