We arrived for one night in The Diaghilev, a very nice hotel. The service is very good, the room was really comfortable. It is placed near the Rotshild Street, and not far from the Dizengoff street...

This was the second year we have stayed at the Daighilev and when in Tel Aviv we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Yet again Anat and her staff were so welcoming and helpful - in fact they even remembered us from last year without any prompting. We had a fabulous room which was perfect in every way. As before the fridge was stocked with juice, milk and water and of course tea and coffee. We felt as if we were old friends rather than guests. Since last year the Back Stage cafe has been opened and was great for breakfasts or in fact any light snack throughout the day, all served with their usual smiling goodwill. The hotel is very convenienty located for access to central Tel Aviv and just around the corner from the wonderful Rothschild Boulevard where people stroll around at their leisure day and night - including us! All in all another wonderful stay at this superbly located place.

The Diaghilev is not bland, not another faceless and personality-less chain hotel. And it has a cool charm to it that makes a big difference. The reception and Back Stage staff are fun, friendly and professional. This was my first visit to the hotel and to Israel - they both made a great, warm and inviting impression.

great furniture with beautiful art decorations with home like environment.
but no parking area made me little bit uneasy.
all convenient stores and sightseeing areas are nearby so you can easily get on to it by driving.
be sure you need to have a car

We only spent two nights here but it was a great stay. We had a nice large suite with good facilities. A sofa, kitchen that already had some drinks in, a Nespresso machine etc. we found the people working here extremely helpful and they helped design our days/ evening out in Tel Aviv. Location was great - so close to the heart of the city but just removed enough to be peaceful. I will be staying here on my return.

These are apartments, not hotel rooms. Large, airy, modern and very comfortable. Location is central to many sights. You are smack in the middle of the Bauhaus area at the Diaghilev. Take the time to wander the area looking at the architecture. It is a 20 minute walk to the beach, about a 15 minute walk to the train station if you insist on using public transportation to or from the airport. Kitchenette has sink, dishes, silverware and kettle. Nice flat screen tv with cable access. Front desk was very nice, very accommodating in making recommendations and reservations for dinner.

Will stay here again when next visting Tel Aviv.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a slightly larger room, which come with a balcony.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The Diaghilev is a bohemian boutique hotel that offers an extraordinary and exceptional cultural experience intensified by an excellent personal service. The hotel features an art gallery exhibiting over 500 artworks that change every 6 months, unique and mostly radical decor items, a collection of hand made rugs from all over the universe, most of which are ancient and therefore reflect the aged cultures they originate from. The Diaghilev has recently established a HUB for Start-ups and integrates a wide activity in such fields as design, fashion and technology. The uniqueness of the hotel brought it into prominence among internationally acknowledged artist visiting Tel Aviv and the world of technology and start-up. Many employees of the leading corporations in the world choose the Diaghilev as their base in Tel Aviv. Built in the purest Bauhaus the Diaghilev invites its guests to experience a World Cultural Heritage site rich of hundreds of Bauhaus buildings and get a taste of the “White City.” Our uncommon nocturnal concept was designed taking account of a recent scientific research that showed evidence that black beddings cause intensive production of Melatonin hormone, which results in deeper sleep, stronger immune system and increased anti-aging effect. The Diaghilev is an eco-friendly hotel, committed to a continually expanding list of operating practices that aim to maintain minimal environmental impact. The toiletries at the Diaghilev are of outstanding quality. They are produced from natural materials created from plants cultivated for this purpose in the hills of Jerusalem. These products are produced and packaged at a small factory that employs people with disabilities and integrates them into the labor market. Our creativity-support concept lead to the establishment of the HUB - a shared work environment that is more than a physical workplace for creative entrepreneurs: It is designed to nurture a community in which creators will be able to collaborate with one another in order to produce innovative projects and initiatives. ... more   less
