We spent several weeks at Varsano Suites with 3 teenagers. During that time we stayed in two different suites, each unique and beautifully appointed. The decor is a funky mix of chic modern and historically appropriate. The kitchen areas are wonderfully supplied with all one needs and more, from a spacious refrigerator and pots to a dishwasher and expresso machine. The location can't be beat - a block from the beach in one direction, and wonderful shopping and restaurants in the other. It is so centrally located that we walked to most destinations, or relied on buses and easy to find taxis. The staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. The courtyard is a huge bonus - it was like enjoying our own home garden. Our kids found lots to do locally and the set up was perfect for them to also have some space and independence.

With my wife and one child, visited often by our two other kids and friends, we spent almost four months based in Varsano's beautifully renovated 3 bedroom, 3 bath, high ceilings, well-equipped suite, with lovely touches from the Nespresso machine to the gorgeous courtyard garden. Neve Tzedek, where Varsano is located, is one of Tel Aviv's most interesting neighborhoods, only a few blocks from the beach and historic Jaffa. Cultural events and neighborhood events abound. We felt extremely well taken care of by the friendly and effective staff, almost as part of the family. Varsano is a small hotel, with a small number of rooms, but--as someone who travels extensively around the world--I would give it my highest recommendation for low-key style. Glitz no, but an extremely high quality experience.

I travelled with my 14 years old son and we started the week with 2 nights at the Dan Hotel, because I wanted a swimming pool and buffet breakfast for my teenager as he was going to be on his own for the first day. The Dan was very good but lacked atmosphere. We were both very happy to spend the rest of the week in Varsano. The place is gorgeous, beautifully decorated, full of light, flowers in the courtyard, peaceful. The location is excellent, in the hear of Newe Tsedek, near the good restaurants and shopping places, 10 minutes walking distance from the beach or from Allenby St. We had the deluxe suite (room #2) and it was spacious (68 sq meters), very clean and comfortable with well equipped kitchen, DVD player, Ipod player, flat screen TV, great shower, plenty of towels, nespresso machine..... Highly recommended!

This hotel management is very dangerous! We booked via expedia, this hotel management said it would have not received the correct information: They wanted to get rid of us during Passah one day earlier than our stay would end, telling us it would be our problem.
Only after massive intervention they would feel responsible to offer a second best place for another night. NEVER AGAIN / DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE.
For my wife and the family -we were traveling with kids- this was a very very unpleasent experience. Our impression was that they found another person paying more: THIS IS NOT A SERIOUS BUSINESS!

We loved Varsano! The position is wonderful, the staff charming and very helpful and the rooms spacious, very comfortable, light and bright all in a private garden setting!
