We stay here every time we visit Tel-Aviv so it feels like our "home away from home."
Basic average accomodations, nothing fancy, rooms include small kitchenette. Very clean, with housekeeping. You can also pay extra for laundry service.
They were doing rennovations during the day, but once we got back to our room late afternoon, it was quiet.
They offer on-site parking at a nominal extra cost, which is a huge asset for those of us who use a car during our stay.
Excellent location, which is walking distance to Dizengoff cafes, shops and Old Port.
Only ten minutes walk to the beach!
You can take advantage of their free bikes to get around as well.

excellent location around rhe corner of dizengoff, walking distance from port of Tel Aviv (very hot area) and also close enough to Carmel market and other attractions. Not much more to tell. Due to flight delay, we slept most of our time while in Tel Aviv unfortunately (for us)

Well, I probably couldn't have picked a worse week to be in Tel Aviv, what with missiles causing sirens to go off at all hours, significantly changing my business plans. That said, the staff at Arbel really helped make the best of a tough situation, making sure their guests were well-informed, and knew what to do in case of an emergency.

The hotel guests seem a mixture of long stays and business/family travelers. I loved having a kitchenette in the room so I could keep breakfast foods and coffee in the room. The rooms are nicely updated. (I should say that as of November 2012, there is significant renovation work continuing on the fourth floor, which can be noisy during the day. I was generally out of the room from 10 to 4 at least, so it didn't bother me much, but those who like to sleep late might want to ask for a room far away from the work.)

Location is great -- near Dizengoff, AM/PM, cash machines and restaurants. Also an easy walk to Rabin Square and the beach. I really loved that the room included access to a really nice bike for sightseeing. Overall, a very good experience, although not at all luxurious.

Room Tip: If renovations are still ongoing, ask for a room as far as possible from the work.

I just spent one week in TLV at Arbel. Someone wrote that Arbel was like being home and yes I got the same feeling. The staff is very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Spacious room was just renovated and was very comfortable and clean, fresh towels daily. Excellent internet. Very good location, very quiet, close to Dizenghoff and Ben Gurion. Coiuld not be better There are free bicycles for use to get around town. It`s a hidden gem and I would stay there again.

Arbel was like being at home. The staff was very helpful giving us maps and pointing out where to go, supplying towels for the beach and even milk for our coffee! Having the bikes availabloe was an added plus! The rooms were clean and comfortable with great amenities. We paid double for another hotel and the amenities were not included! Cleanliness, great staff, location and price gives unbeatable value for anyone wanting to enjoy Tel Aviv. We actually had two rooms at Arbel. One for a friend and one for ourselves. My friend's room was smaller than ours, and so was the price, yet adequately supplied. It was obvious the hotel was in the midst of upgrading and the changes we saw were wonderful improvements. When we return, we will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Make sure your windows are closed in the mornings, as the garbage truck can be noisy.

This is an apartment hotel, so no meals are served. You have a small kitchen so make your own breakfast and other meals, otherwise there are lots of restaurants nearby. Location is very central. It´s a small place with friendly owners and staff. You can normally borrow a bicycle for free which is great for Tel Aviv. The price seemed high to me but Tel Aviv is an expensive city and when compared to other places it looked very reasonable.
