“Great hotel!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 16, 2010

Absolutely great hotel. Very small and no amenities - pool, room service, etc., but very cozy, clean, romantic. (breakfast is included and much more practical and fresh than those hugley wasteful and obscene overwarmed buffet breakfasts that are offered at most other hotels in Israel). Well appointed, lovely decor, great spa like bathroom, and a fridge!
You need a car - far away from everything except the Airport.
Not a great area - near an all night produce distribution facility, and in a mall (that actually is a good place to shop) and on the grounds of a hospital (You don't know that you are near any of these places when you are in the hotel.)
The parking is a bit weird - you have to get two tickets and get one validated and then throw the other out - you will see if you get there - but plenty of lit indoor parking with an elevator that goes right to the hotel)
We had two young children with us and the hotel was very accommodating.
(one tiny issue - our neighbor seemed to have fallen asleep with his tv on and you could hear it during the night - an insulation problem)

The only thing it needs to ameliorate is the drainage of the water in the shower room. We experience twice this problem. The rest of things no complain.

My friends and I really liked our stay at this hotel. They were very friendly and since they knew we were traveling back and forth they offered to order us dinner when we first checked in and they held our luggage while we traveled for a few days out of the country but returned to the hotel before heading home. Breakfast spread was great, and having free internet access was also a plus. The one thing we did not like was that it was not as close as we thought to the beaches in Tel Aviv and trying to get into the city on our own became a project trying to understand the bus system. i would recommend a taxi.

This is a suburban hotel; you must have a car unless you're just here for nearness to the airport.

I needed to find a place to stay near Ben Gurion Airport when meeting participants arriving for an international conference. This is the only hotel close enough to the airport to be a possibility.
I was on a waiting list because the hotel was fully booked. A room opened up and the staff were amazingly helpful when I needed to change the room from a double to a triple an hour before arrival. We had to leave at 3:30 AM and they had box breakfasts packed up for us without having to request them.
I definitely recommend this hotel if you need a place near the airport.

We travelled in Israel in Auguest 2010 and we visited many places. In order to avoid trafic in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, we selected this hotel which is conveniently placed near the Ben Gourion International airport and very well connected to the various motorways. Therefore, we were able to plan our visit to Jerusalem, Tel Aviv center, Nazareth, Tiberiades, Bethleem and many other places from our base at Sadot Hotel. The first drive from the Airport to the hotel, late in the night, was a bit difficult, I suggest to well prepare your map before you are there. It is only 15 minutes driving from the Airport, but don't miss the direction change unless you go for 15 minutes more for each mistake.
The hotel itself is very clean, well decorated in a modern style. The Bed are very comfortable and we had very good rest. The breakfasts are delicious with all kind of fresh vegetables and many other items. The view from the hotel is not interresting. The hotel personnel is very competent and extremly friendly and welcoming. No swimming pool, no restaurant. The Hotel is located in a small commercial center with a parking and at the ground level you can find a chinese/japanese fastfood, a Mc Donald and a local dishes fast food. It is not open on Shabat,.
A very good choice for the type of holidays we had in Israel with many places to visit by car. Internet is free in Sadot, it is very rare in Israel.

Chose this hotel for a one night stopover because it was it was closer to airport than travelling right into Tel Aviv. This meant that it did not have any restaurants nearby or other amenities and we had to order a takeaway. However, that aside, the hotel itself which occupies floors above a hospital, was really very good with tasty decor, very quiet and very clean. Staff were efficient and helpful and the breakfast was very good indeed.
