I stayed here based on the advice of a very reputable guide book, which has never have let me down before but in this case they were clearly had this address confused with another hotel. We expected a designer hotel with beautifully decorated rooms, in actuality this hotel is dank and a 2-star budget property at best. There were cigarette burns in the comforter of the dark/drearily furnished rooms, the in room "Jacuzzi" was a stained bathtub of which the jets did not work and the caulking was yellow & peeling, the sliding wood bathroom door (which provided no real privacy for those traveling with companions) had mold & mildew growing on the bottom of it, the air conditioner leaked onto the bed during the night...the list goes on. Beware, the hotel website photos are extremely misleading! We did not have the breakfast, so cannot verify the other travelers’ comments that it was good. The location was convenient, but I found Tel Aviv to be very walk-able so you could easily have picked a nicer property closer to the beach and been just as happy with your distance from the bars/restaurants of Rothschild Street and other hip neighborhoods. I would have much preferred to wake to the sound of gentle waves in the morning instead of the bulldozing immediately across from the hotel that began at 8am. I agree with the previous review, the best part of my stay was check out.
