Ramat Hakayal is a small area 20 min drive outside Tel Aviv. Basically there are a lot of offices and some pubs and restaurants on the main strip and this hotel is the only sleeping facility
The hotel is not terrible but not good. The first impression is a very kitch 4 meters long pink plastic crocodile on main entrance ( ??) , the rooms seems ok but in reality they smell bad and the black design floor is impossible to be cleaned. You will be forced to walk with shoes because it is very dirty as the rest of the carpets. Walls without any decoration, very simple design, very kitch, nothing special, very poor and basic. The gym is a joke, no pool. On 9th floor there is a complementary business center where you can have some rest and food on nice sofa. Staff unpleasant ,

Dear Guest,
First thanks to the Feedback, as a boutique hotel that designed by the one of the biggest designers in Israel and there are artistic items
I would like to show you the art of the pink crocodile: this is at the Cloister of Bramante, named after a 15th Century Roman architect who worked on, among other things, St. Peter’s Basilica. Today the Basilica is home to an art gallery; the crocodiles and poodle were part of an art show at that site and it cost us 20,000$ – I put the picture that you can be impressed.
For the floor issue: this is a stone carpet and we put sleepers for all the rooms that you will feel at home.
I hope you will change your point of view and really would like to see you again in our hotel and take care personally.

Leonardo Boutique is a wonderful option for travelers to Tel Aviv, who would like a clean, boutique hotel located in a good neighborhood, with a friendly staff. Although it's not located on the beach, the hotel offers free shuttles. Also, the bed was by far the most comfortable I've encountered in a Tel Aviv hotel.

Gilli and Shai, at the front desk, were extremely helpful with all of my needs. I would definitely stay here, again!

This is a comfortable hotel with funky decor - very comfortable and very helpful staff. Location though is on the edge of town so it takes a while to get to downtown and the beach

Room Tip: Choose a room away from the building site next door

I've stayed in many different hotels in Tel Aviv, this is one of the best, especially considering the price. It might not be near the beach or in down town Tel Aviv but if you disregard this, it's perfect. It's a modern, slightly arty hotel and although it has lots of rooms, it feels like a boutique hotel. It's big but small. Breakfast is excellent. I didn't have a meal in the restaurant but the quality of room service is very good. There's a few good restaurants along the street. There's a nice public lounge on the top floor with free drinks and nibbles and interesting things to read. If you want a good business hotel in Tel Aviv with quick access to the motorway, away from congested downtown and you can do without the beach, stay here. Staff are very good.

This hotel is gorgeous! Super modern looking. The hallways are a bit dark though. The beds are really comfortable, the rooms are great but small and crowded. The bathroom and shower are just out in the open.. I found that weird. The showers are just right out in the room, not behind a bathroom door or anything.. so there's no privacy at all really.. The wifi is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive and there aren't any free wifis in the area to latch onto so the hotel's wifi is really your only option. The business lounge/bar area upstairs is great. They have computers there but they're always taken so act fast! The food is great in the lounge. Never went to the gym, but it looked great. Overall an enjoyable stay but there are better options out there..

when we walked into the lobby our jaws dropped. The room was decent size, and very cleaned. It had a anesthetic feel. the shower head was a rain shower head and was great to have to refresh. The mini bar in the room was a fortune and would make noise, even though it looked brand new. On the 9th floor there is a complimentary business lounge that has pastries fruit and drinks available for all guests. Parking was a disaster!!! The hotel has NO parking lot and you need to park on a lot on the block. My biggest problem was the WIFI. It costs 14 dollars a day which is absurd in this day and age. After purchasing the package the speed I got was 1.0 mbps tops!!!!!
What a shame, and to charge for that???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great hotel never the less

There's absolutely nothing positive to say about this hotel. When we got there early in the morning, no staff was available to help us with the luggage. Considering that they want to be a 5* hotel - this is ridicolous. The unmotivated "trainee" that awaited us at the reception could not proide us any information regarding parking possibilities, as no parking was available in the hotel. Even though I ordered an executive room we got a tiny rathole without any walls or doors separating the bathroom from the rest of the room. As I complained (one of many times) to the reception they grudgingly showed us another one that wasn't any different from the last one. We stayed in the third room they showed us because we were exhausted after the overnight flight, but it turned out to be a very smelly encounter and was unbearable so in the morning again we had to move to another room. Another unfortunate fact is that the hotel is in a constuction zone - don't think about relaxing there - during the day it's very noisy. As I was on a business trip I fortunately had a corporate rate, but unlike ALL other hotels where I stayed within 15 years of business travel, the corporate rate does NOT include breakfast or Wifi. Both are ridicolously expensive: they charge 85 ILS for a little buffet and up to 20 ILS for the internet. There's a weird type of flooring in the entire hotel including the rooms that NEVER seems to be cleaned. The worst is the rude and unfriendly staff that seems very upset that they have to serve customers. They even wanted to charge 15 ILS from us for bringing up Ice and glasses to the room. We don't even need to go into the location perspective: very remote from everything! Overall, my worst hotel experience ever - and I stayed in many hotels around globe in the last 15 years. I will NEVER come back and will recommend my company to exclude this hotel from their preferred hotel list.
