I stayed here on business as the crowne plaza was full. Not impressed.
Dirty bed sheet
Dirty bathroom
Unable to lock balcony doors
My bag was go.e through on the first day
Room safe was broken
Gym was two streets away and seemed smaller than my hotel room
The breakfast area was in the reception

I have lived in Tel Aviv for years and whenever I have had guests from abroad who were looking for a great place near the water in Tel Aviv, I told them about this place. Unbelievable location, on the waterfront with high quality services and facilities, highly recommended!

Room Tip: Do not miss the famous Geula beach near by - Tel Aviv at its best!

This is a most charming and well equipped hotel at the see side and in walking distance from Jaffa. We stayed twice on our recent trip to Israel and will return with pleasure.

Breakfast is great and served until late. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Coffee is available for free in the lobby all day, even for visitors.

Room Tip: The suite is well worth the extra money

We did not stay at the Savoy, but we went there to buy a day trip to Jerusalem. It was a convenient solution, since we were staying at a friend's place on the corner. Our friend often refers his guest interested in day trips to the Savoy. We were very impressed when we went there in the evening to book the tour. The hotel was beautiful and the staff attentive. Also, they proudly exhibited their nomination as "trip advisor traveler's choice for 2012", for which I did congratulate them. However, when we went there at 7am the next morning to wait for the bus, things changed. We were told the bus came usually later, since it had to pick up guests in other hotels and that it should wait outside. We did not go outside, since it was chilly and windy that morning.

Five minutes later the guy in the reception called us and "explained nicely" that the hotel lobby doubled as breakfast room, and it was time for breakfast. Standing close to the door could disturb the guests. Since they did not have a waiting room, we should go outside. We said OK, but did not go outside, since the whole thing seems totally absurd. There was one man having his breakfast alone in one corner and he didn’t seem at all disturbed. Apart from that, the room was empty, full of empty seats, which we did not take, seems we were not welcome to.

Five minutes after that, the guy said we had to step outside. I said I wasn't going to, because it was too cold. After some deliberation with his colleague, he then asked us to take a seat in a now empty breakfast room, where it waited some tem minutes more.

I mean, why would a hotel of this level sell tours to non-guests if he cannot even put up with two sleepy tourists standing quiet in a corner at 7am for half an hour? As you can imagine, the tour was no bargain, just normal international price you would expect to pay for those tourist trips in any other good hotel. I imagine guests do check in at the hotel while other people are eating, so the "disturbing" meal with movement moment must be part of the routine.

GUYS, GET A GRIP. You don't ask people to whom you sell stuff to wait 30 minutes in the cold Tel Aviv windy morning. Especially with an empty dining room available! It is absurd!

We stayed here for 4 nights. Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, good breakfast, great location. We used their bikes to ride on the beach front which was great. Also great to have the free wifi. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, this is a good hotel for the money. The staff was so-so, not the most friendly, but adequate. The hotel has style. The finishings and furniture are relatively simple, but well designed. Great location next to the beach. I would go back. Breakfast was a bit weak, but they offer a small selection of fruits and juice throughout the day.
