We went to Seatara on Saturday morning for a breakfast, the restaurant is located in a somewhat remote location in northern part of Tel Aviv called "Tel Baruch", taxi or car is the only way to get there, the restaurant itself, is beautifully designed, it has a balcony/terrace that has a great view of the sea, perfect for romantic dinners, or just to have a nice midday lunch. We reserved 2 places at the bar, their bar has 2 areas, 1, which has the tall regular bar chairs, and another one, a short bar, with regular chairs as you have in the rest of the restaurant, being 6"4' i had a small problem seating in that "short" bar area, since I had no place for the legs to go under. Now to the main part, the service and the food. The service is OK, just ok, the bartender took good care of us, although it took a long while until the food was served, he offered us drinks and starters meanwhile.. and at the end after we settled the bill, he didn't forget to mention that we still have 1 free soft drink left to take, a big plus! The food itself was good, but, and that's a big BUT, for some reason it was very salty. I ordered a Salmon Omelette which is called "Neged HaZerem" and my fiancee ordered the Israel toast breakfast "at Leon's", and we both agreed that the main dishes, and the salad that came with it was way too salty. To sum up, "Seatara" is a nice restaurant, nice atmosphere, nice location, every place has pros and cons, and there is always room for improvement, but over all 4 out 5! Will try again!

We went to Seatara for an early breakfast. Unfortunately we didn't get a table in the balcony overlooking the sea but the food and the atmosphere was still great with very nice options to choose from the breakfast menu.

We went to Seatara for breakfast with friends on a Friday morning in June 2013. We were seated at a table that was sticky and called a waitress to wipe the table. She took a rag from a drawer and wiped the table and walked away. My arm kept sticking to the table. We called over someone else, who took the same smelly rag from the drawer and wiped again to no avail. I ordered a dish that was supposed to contain mushrooms, mozzarella, poached eggs with truffle foam. There were no mushrooms, nor cheese - only 2 poached eggs with partially uncooked whites and soggy toast. The truffle foam was completely tasteless - certainly no truffle taste (which was why I ordered this dish). My companions also were not satisfied with the service, or the food. They were very stingy with bread on the table and other items that most restaurants of this type are generous with. The music was too loud and people in this very crowded restaurant had to shout at one another to be heard over this music. The wait staff were not attentive at all and we had a hard time just getting the bill. We all agreed we would never return to this place. The prices were a bit high, but if the food was better it wouldn't have made a difference. It was really not worth the effort to travel to this restaurant.
P.S. As soon as we left we drove straight to the nearest mall for coffee and ice cream because we all were left with an unsatisfied feeling.
