“Perfect hotel for exploring region by car”
Reviewed March 24, 2011

Trendy, clean, very nice, most staff very friendly. Perfect if you are with a car (valet parking). We choose city centre because we wanted to visit other places with a rented car.

this hotel presents a very good combination: central location, decent rooms, correct and friendly service throughout. You "live" next to a shopping center and within walking distance to several cool areas and some of the best restaurants tel aviv has to offer. Try "Messa". The fitness center (10th floor) can be crowded, so if you are a fan of privacy, make sure to use it early in the morning.

Internet in the rooms is 20 (!!!) euros. I don't pay this due to personal principes, but if your company pays, who cares? ;-) Tip: if you are afraid to walk outside the hotel, get a spot in the bar /lounge area, grab a beer and turn on your computer. You will benefit from free internet available at acceptable speed. You'll even find power plugs to feed the laptop.

I ran out of cash on the last night out and the front desk offered to add the following mornings taxi bill (150 ILS) to the room. 4% commision was the price equal to 6 ILS. Reasonable. Overnight parking was an astonishing affordable 35 ILS. A pleasant experience after several rip-offs during a one week tel aviv /israel stay...

Only thing that needs improvement is the breakfast :-)
+ cleaning of course, but that seem to be a general thing in israel. When you enter any bathroom you'll notice, that switzerland is far, far away. Dirty showers and a hair or two not simular to your own haircolour is something, you'll have to accept.

I only stayed one night, but everything was up to the usual standards of this chain. Checkin/out was easy, service perfect (critically important for a business traveller), food good (though pricey as usual).
I think I also got a room upgrade without asking (well, either that or the hotel is particularly good value!) The bathroom was particularly stylish.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is not on the beach, but it has a free shuttle and they give you beach towels. It is next to a shopping mall, which is convenient. It is very stylish and the service is great. The guys in the reception were always ready to help. People were asking us why we stayed in this business district area, but this hotel really made the difference! You can get good weekend prices!

This is the second time we stayed here. The hotel facilities are very impressive. The rooms are very clean with comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The hotel is new, and the rooms are furnished with modern, functional furniture. Our room was great, lots of space and a wonderful bed.We did not have any problem with noise and we had the breakfast room all to ourselves.
What a wonderful city, and you should aim to experience this stay at the best hotel, and that in my eyes is the Hotel Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv City Center.

I have stayed at this property many times since it opened several years ago. Being a new or newer hotel in Israel certainly has it's advantages and the hotel staff tries to keep the property in new or like new condition. The rooms are very nice and functional. The floors are quiet, though at times there can be some noise if there is an outdoor event. Very professional staff.

Check-in and check-out can be quite slow and those of us from the USA need to be paitent. The process is not like what we see in the USA.

The Israeli breakfast is an experience and the Crowne Plaza - Azrieli does a very good job. You are always greeted each morning in the breakfast center.

The concierge lounge is excellent and a perfect location for meetings. I have seen average to excellent staff at the concierge. There is free WI-FI in the concierge lounge.

The hotel location is perfect for business as you are next to the train station (HaShalom) through the mall, as well as off the Ayalon Highway. There are many restaurants that are within walking distance as well as restaurants in the mall.

Went to Israel with my husband for 8 days in mid-January, he for business, I was the tag-along. Checked in at the hotel and that was the first glimpse I had of the not-so-welcoming front desk people. I believe that the hotel's reception crew should be the most welcoming staff in any part of a hotel. As a client, whether you are there for business or leisure, their hotel is going to be your home for a bit of time and they should at least make an effort to make you feel wanted. And never in our whole stay did I feel welcome and we have stayed at all sorts of establishment around the globe. They weren't rude, they just didn't seem to care.
The rooms were not as big as I thought it'd be based on the pictures on the website but it was very clean and functional. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom had all the amenities that a business traveler would need although why are the shower caps so tiny or is my head too big?
The hotel is located right across the driveway (maybe 25 steps) to a decent grocery store (lunch at the deli is so not recommended there) and next to a mall. It was convenient to just go to the mall's food court rather than getting a cheeseburger for $30,and that's just the burger, at the hotel.
I have to say, the breakfast buffet at the hotel which was included in our room was very good but after 8 days of the same thing over and over again, I was ready for something else. One thing I can suggest, they should label the dishes since I noticed that a lot of diners were business people and unfamiliar with a lot of dishes. It'd be nice to know what you are putting in your stomach. There was one person that made the stay bearable,Karen, the omelet girl.. She was nice and when asked about the different kinds of dishes, she gladly explained them to me. Thanks, Karen.
The location of the hotel was convenient to the freeway but not so if you want to walk around and see a little more of Tel Aviv. If I go back to Tel Aviv, and I know I will, I'd choose not to stay here but will try somewhere closer to the beach. If the staff were a little warmer, it'd negate the inconvenient location but since they weren't so warm and fuzzy, no reason to go back.
