“Authientic Neighborhood”
Reviewed March 20, 2014

Narrow streets and uneven houses hold the old yemenite neighborhood. Combine in your itinerery with Shuk Hacarmel and Neve Tzedek

“Yeminite Quarter”
Reviewed March 16, 2014

This was the best neighborhood in which to stay. I was on my own for a week and loved being so central to everything. The Carmel market is right around the corner so it's easy to buy enough food to avoid having to eat out all of the time. But if you do want to eat out, there are several great, reasonable restaurants which base their menus of the fresh produce from the market. It's convenient to transportation everywhere. Although the streets are narrow and picturesque, it always felt safe.
